You know what else I did to that neighbor? I had a 15 passenger van. It beeped when it backed up. One day he was bitching out something when I had the van in the back yard. I put it into reverse, and turned the van off, and left it for 20 mins.

Last year in my old house (in the ghetto) my neighbor two houses down would rev their car at 1-2AM. It was a V8, and it sounded uncorked too. VEEERY loud. This was in their closed garage, and not just idle, but like 5-6K RPM. They'd do it for 15-20 minutes straight, then it would just stop. Happened like 5 times total. Super weird.

Wandering over in your uniform with a simple "I hear there's a noise violation over here?" would be great.

Then, walk her over to your house, wander inside, and answer your own door. "Yes, is there a problem?"

Do the whole two-sides argument, where "you" argue with the "cop" (both being you) and make her think you're a raging psycho.

If I was still driving tractor/trailer I'd drop by with the tractor and engage the jake brake (engine brake basically).

If not, I will need to idle the diesel engine all night to keep the air conditioning running so I can wake up cool & refreshed for another days driving on the nations highways... otherwise I might wake up hot 'n cranky and be a safety hazard and engage in bullying 4-wheelers with my big 'ol Texas bumper.
