Many of you saw the posts I made a few months back...black parts, different wheels, different skirts, etc....I've been since August without the car, it's been home (freshman at school) and this week my landlord FINALLY gave me an update (he was fixing a few things: battery, etc...) but low and behold...SURPRISE! Got this email this morning....containing....

MyNeonSaysHi - Your car has been my model car since I got these parts. Clean! We differ in small areas, but overall a smooth clean look.

Adionik - another base neon / srt clone! haha 'ceptin mine is a stick (your REAL srt doesnt count!)

-Going to put my coils on next weekend.K-Sports (on pro-kits w/ tokicos right now).
-Shocker emblem hits from bumper
-Foglights (waiting on surrounds)

Suggestions:
Tint your rear tails lightly. The red annoys me
Need foglight shrouds.
Side mirrors could used a good painting


Really, that's all I can think of. Love the rims, and as long as you don't go trying to race everyone I'll give your car some mad respect
Don't make the neon look bad

cool. i think i'm the only one who drives normally. i hardly even rev the thing.

surrounds are on the way. the mirrors need a repaint. probably a gloss black, but then i'd want to match all the exterior pillars. depends on my time and resources.

You need a damn good detail and a good place to take pictures...THEN she'll look good. I'd like to see some higher res pics of the car clean with those wheels to give my final opinion.

i'll see if i can grab those within the next week or two. the guy who painted it just shot me an email with those. i'm def going to thoroughly detail it once i get my hands on it.

It does have the SRT look to it with the reg na motor in it. Not a fan of that at all. But you seem like someone not trying to race everybody and just want a nice clean look which you have done greatly.

Don't do the shocker...please don't. Maybe do something with the exhaust..

sexy as hell dude. just take your time with it. looks awesome with the blue rims...really breaks up the silver

I rly like the wheels, they fit with the look nicely. I'd pull the exhaust in just a bit and give it a good detail...then better pics!

glad to see blue lip over red. it's different.

paint mirrors silver, and throw blue decals over them. decals of whatever.

still not a fan of clone status, but it's whatever. still looks good.

are those the real sportmaxx 006 rims or are they the ebay xxx 006 rims? I always wondered how those would look on a neon but i would have thought the lip would have been bigger personally.

looks good. you gonna be selling your springs since u are putting on new coils??

unsure of my path with that yet. two of the coils are seized up, etc..etc...

and one strut is bent, so you'd have to replace it. but if i get something to work, i will be selling the spring/strut combo (tokico HPs w/ eibach pro-kit)

Looking good. I think the black housing headlights would look better with your rims being black. Other than that .

I like the wheels but i dunno if im feelin the blue. IMO. Def still looks good though!
