It's not what we like, it's what you like! lol.
Car looks good though. You already mentioned coilovers, so "you need to slam it!" has already been addressed lol. Other than that, it looks clean.
I like the old pic with the 3 toned passenger side

Yea, I got drilled by a Toyota Tacoma on 33"s. Obviously the old picture was taken prior to paint. Gotta hate bastards with no insurance
I am probably looking to drop it until the wheel gap is gone. Either that or until I can't get out of my driveway.
Thanks for your response.

Wow! What a difference. I say you should get some eyelids to give it an aggressive look. Those projectors make it look like the car is surprised or something.
And because you dont have fog lights you should offset mount the front plate. You would have to make a custom mount but it would look a lot cleaner. Something like this

That's not your car... lol. Is it?
And the color is nice. Take a look at krc21's Neon. Same color, I believe he still has SRT rims, and has one of the few cleanest SRT-4 swaps I've seen.
Got anymore plans other than coilovers and the proposed eyelids for the headlights?

I would have to have eyelids custom made to fit projectors right? I like eyelids, but color matching my paint will be tough, it's custom. The color is almost Atlantic Blue, but when I had it resprayed I had metallic flake added.
The only problem with offset mounting the license plate is what to do with the holes the current mount made? Any ideas there?
Other plans for the future might be dual exhaust. Something like Vibrant I suppose. Probably nothing else visually different.
Other than that I'm not really looking for performance upgrades since this is my daily driver, so I need it to be reliable.

A lot of members who have the projectors on their '03+ Neons have eye lids. I think most of which use a hair dryer or something of that sort to kinda help mold the eyelid piece onto the headlight, but not too much heat to melt it in place lol.
I also have 3 damn holes in my front bumper. I haven't done anything to 'em and I've had my car for about 2 years now. Kinda retarded though because NC doesn't require front plates...
I went with dual exhaust as well (just the rear section), mostly for the looks (it's from a member here, off a '02 ACR).
And you can totally boost the car and have it reliable!!

There are more than a "couple shots" you posted. lol
Your car looks pretty good so far. Can't wait to see it slammed, it will look alot better.
Are you planning to get a lip kit?

2005.Neon.SXT: Yea, that's actually how I thought they got the eyelids on. I'm just not sure what I would do for the color. I would want color matched, but the only option there is custom fiberglass then painted. If I go dual exhaust it will just be a rear section. If I boost the car it will be very low PSI with all stock internals. In which case it probably won't make a huge difference. But I see where you are coming from
Mat666: Depends on your definition of a "couple"

. I'm not sure about the lip kit. The roads around here probably wouldn't be too good for the front. On the other hand, if I do dual exhaust I will want a rear lip so the tips look more in place. I'm kinda bent between the two options.
SOKADAO954: Haha I see what you mean. The pictures don't quite show how blue the turn signals are. The top cavity of the projectors is almost completely blue when I walk up to the car. Takes a little of the surprised look away. I will more than likely try to figure something out regarding eyelids for the headlights.
Thanks for the comments everyone!

When I boost, I just want to start off with just stock internals with low PSI as well. My car has a lot of life left ('05 and I barely broke into the 32,000 mark) so I'm not worried. I'm most likely get it faster later down the road, but just start off low at first. Esteinmeier's (spelling?) can get a stock 2.0L Neon boosted with 8Psi running about 100+HP more than stock... if I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong someone lol).

Yea, boost scares me a little because my engine has 110,000 miles. Most of those are strictly highway, but I don't know what kind of condition the internals are in. If I boost this car it will be because I purchased something to replace it.

My favorite tail lights period. My wife loves them too. I don't know what it is with women. She hates everything else I do to the car but loves my taillights. Pfft!
Were yours chrome or black?

It's not that I don't like chrome, I just don't like those tails. Or the badges.

Yea, I'm still working up the courage to remove the badges. I've heard fishing line works well?
To each his own regarding the LED tails. I really enjoy them. It's kinda like the 3d tails. Some people like them, I don't.

Nice shots! Your car looks surprisingly very clean for being on such a dirty road! Pick up some fiberglass eyelids from Carbon By Design and have them paint matched. The glass ones are much cheaper than the CF. If you slam it on coilovers I don't think you'd have an issue with the Mopar lip kit versus going with a body kit that had larger bumpers. You should be okay. Looks great

LSP:
The only problem with paint matching is I don't have the money to pay someone to do it. I'm thinking about just doing black shorty eyelids and calling it a day. Same story with the Mopar lip kit, I just don't have the money to get it painted. I will just slam it and call it a day haha.
That road is about 2 miles of what you see in the pictures, up and down hills and all kinds of crazy stuff. I drove about 10mph the whole way.
Thanks for the comment!

If you keep your eyes open you could find someone to paint it relatively cheap. The automotive industry is kind of starved at this point so there are shops that will do work for cheap prices just to have something coming in the door. Better yet have some paint mixed and siphoned into a spray can (spray can's cost about 6.95 with siphoning included). Get some UPOL clear and go to town doing it yourself. You spend about $60 rather than spending hundreds.

Yea, that's just the thing, there aren't a lot of shops where I'm at so there isn't much competition. I might just save some "lunch money" and buy the fiberglass shorties and see if I can get a pretty close match to my paint...I'm in no rush to get the look I want *shrug*
