New shots by some train tracks

Post by LilSparkPlug » Sat May 16, 2009 6:30 pm

I've taken so many damned pictures I'm running out of areas to take them. I came across this area the other day so I figured I'd give it a go. I grabbed some quick pictures since I haven't done an official shoot of the car this year yet.

No one around here knows their ass from their elbow when it comes to a camera. I don't know of anyone that could take any. I was supposed to set something up with a professional but he wants way too much to do it. It'd be nice to find a local who can navigate a DSLR well enough to take some.

Thanks for the compliments :)

Wtf, no rear shots of the car? lol

The car is looking great as always! I really like the headlights you created. They stand out very well. Nice work!

Thanks guys! And Virginia is a bit too far if she were closer (MA, CT, RI) I would drive out there. ha ha.

Mat: Thanks for the compliments on the headlights :) and I took a few rear shots of the car but because of the sun's height (still a bit too high) it blew out the whole top of the picture. I didn't have my gradient filter on me so there was nothing I could do about it. But here's one to show you what I mean:

The top portion of the picture is overexposed due to the positioning of the sun. Using filters she could have lessened that effect.

LSP: I knew VA was too far, I was just poking fun :D.

Thanks guys! LOL Mat an ND gradient filter is a filter thats darker on top and clear on the bottom half, that way you can keep the color in the sky. I know this isn't a photo forum it's a car forum but stuff like that still bugs me about my pictures. The other rear shots were WAY worse than that one you couldn't even see the top of the car at all.

Fuzzy if it means a new sig then yes....driveth! :)

Car looks just as good as the shots do as always. But those lines going to the hood pins are fugly. Get some cf ones that don't have lines and you will be all set

Sokado: LOL Thanks

Gramps: Fantasies? Your SRT and Nicko's Neon wanna get it on with Lucius? Car porn? LOL

Kornholio: They fit with the AAR theme, and there is no carbon fiber on my car and there will never be. It doesn't fit or flow with anything on the car. They are a love it or hate it thing, there really isn't any in between with them. I don't have to run the cables, I just choose to, I love the way they look when they're down at a show. But thanks :)

Glasswars: That might work, if you know of any places....that's a couple of hours for me.

Fuzzy: You and your bastard child better show up :)

Passt: ORLY OFCR?! :D

And I took a ton of pictures yesterday at two different spots but I'll wait to whore them up.

I like those 'from above" shots. Not many places give you the ability to take those. I always wonder, do your hood pin cable ever give you problems scratching or rubbing your bumper paint?

Chad: No they don't they're sheathed in a rubber/vinyl type material and haven't left a mark yet on either bumper. :) And you're 100% right there aren't alot of places that you can take shots like that at.

03SXT: Thanks!
