So we installed a unorthidox UDP today this was the adventure

lolz, get back to work.

i remember when i put my MPx pulley on my old car. it was such a big difference. but i won't be putting one on my car now, stupid CEL. i don't want to be looking at that every day.

We were putting a UR UDP on my 2gnt, started pouring as soon as the motor mount bolt was out. Four hours for a UDP install is NOT fun ;)

Props on getting it done!

you should clear the hood like that :D

i got an underdrive pulley, u can notice a difference but i don't know if its worth giving up my A/C all the time.. hahaha

well where in jersey doesn't get to hot and ive never had a car with working a/c except mine now and i used it once to see if it worked

I gave up ac and power steering. and i really don't mind cause it feels a lot better. go ultra s series

it's the 01-02 computers (possibly the NGC computers too, but i don't know about them as much, because i don't have one). not one the 2000's though, i had one on my 2000 with no problem.

apparently the 01-02 has a more sensitive knock sensor, so once you rev above 5 grand, or something in that neighbourhood, the crank sensor senses an imbalance in the crankshaft and turns your CEL on, because it thinks its sensing knock. at least thats from what i understand.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong, i'm just going off the top of my head.

I have been running with out hood pins for a while just forgot to re tape down the hood. lmao

nice lol reminds me of when someone forgot to put the hood pins in one of our 625hp mustangs at my last job, dude shifted into 2nd @ 50 and the hood flew up and dented the roof and broke the windshield LOL

Does your hood not have the little striker or hook that goes into the hood latch or something?
