Those should be a mandatory mod when you purchase your Neon. They should seriously come with the car. Sportlines are more fun though. ;]

They do keep driving much more interesting as you ahve to avoid pebbles in the road for fear of smashing a $900 strut to pieces.

They should take about 2 and a half to 3 and a half hours to put in right????? def no more than 4??

all depends on your knowledge of working on cars. If you are pretty handy and have the basic tools you should be good. Be careful with front sway bar bolts. PIA.


I just switched from sportline to the pro-kit because of my Kaminari Kit. Havent had a chance to drive the car as I am also doing LCA. Good luck with em.

If he's just changing springs he won't need to take the sway bar off at all

I believe in order to pull the strut off you have to at least remove it from the control arm or you risk ripping the cv boot like I did.

I ended up snapping two bolts on the passenger side for the sway bar. I was pissed so I tried to pull the strut assy off and ripped my cv boot. Makes it much easier to do when the sway bar is off but if you have the room just take it off the control arms and let it hang.
