4 months + before posting, like my daughter would say, Creeper!

Nice car, and glad you decided to share.

And I didn't even notice the decals on the first look. So I guess you got the subtle part down.

Lol. Creeper indeed... Just gathering info on the differences between this one and my dohc coupe. That, and gauging how douchey you guys are in comparison to the ORG! You seem considerably mellower on here... :)

Gonna try to snap some shots tomorrow after work, provided the weather holds off.

Don't let us fool you, we are way douchier...

Clean ride. I'd say pull the side moldings as well. I'm going to agree with some of the above, don't go black on the wheels. If you refinish the wheels stick with silver. They definitely work the way they are. :D

Nice clean ride. Enjoy your time here with our community.

Yeah, you guys seem to be a much more cohesive "community" on the whole. Knowledge galore, too.

Thunderstorms all day today = unlikely photos.

Very nice and very clean! I would have to agree with the others that have said...LEAVE THE WHEELS SILVER!

Once you get some coilovers, slam that thing down to a 'no finger' gap all around and it will look killer!

Keep up the good work!

A "no-finger" gap!? lol! Epic. That's the idea... I want it lower, but there's no way I'll further sacrifice ride height with the roads around here. Plus, I'm pretty sure my little guy isn't all that stoked on it. It'll be coilovers or nothing.

I'm gonna try to dig up a reputable wheel re-finisher here. Drives me nuts having marks on them...

Are you still planning to get the mopar rear lip? Get one. It's really easy to install on your 01.

I can post up a picture if you want.

Dude, I reallllllllly want a rear lip. I looked at the availability thread on here... Can we still get them from a dealer? And they come paint matched, right?

Tam wrote: Just remove the bumper and place it on something to make it face upwards (ie a stack of tires / milk crates/ etc)

You do a test fit of the lip on the bumper and then you mark the spots where the drilled holes match up. Then take the lip off, and drill those marked spots (I forgot the size of drill).

*Note: do not remove the plastic adhesive part yet until after everything is done.

Start by bolting the 2 middle bolts only, then using a heat gun, slowly heat the bends and mold them to hug the bumper by pushing down on the curves of the lip. This may take at least an hour, and make sure to wear heavy duty gloves so you can push down on the lip's bends without burning your hand.

As you slowly make the lip bend and hug outward, bolt the nuts as you go along the edge toward the ends. After you bolt everything on, I'd recommend you leave it like that for a few days before you remove the plastic adhesive thing leading to the sticky part, just to make sure it is permanently in that shape.

After you think the lip is ready and permanent, slightly remove the lip just so you have enough space to remove the plastic adhesive and then push down to make it stick all around the bumper. Bolt everything up and you're good to go.

Car looks very clean!

I agree about NC being dead now, its so odd the lack of ppl on that forum.

I vote for the rear lip. I am considering doing it to mine too. Just leary about fitment... however if BRR & Tam can figure it out I should be able to!

Thanks, dude. And yeah, NC is basically a poor, glorified buy/sell page now. Sucks.

Winter has finally set in nicely here and ive been insanely busy. Car will get a little bath tomorrow so I can put the snowboard racks on. Pix then, cause it's filthy now.

Gonna contact local dealers about said lip kit this week...
