Well I havent really updated my progress log and I probably should but here's one of my projects we've been working on. Its not even close to being done we kinda just got to a point so i could drive it to MIR tomorrow and then its back to working on it. Let me know what u guys think







and yes the lights are all wired up properly thanks to John and my brother is doing all the body work. really all ive done is help sand here and there but my bro done things his way and ill let him finish what he started lol.

Thanks guys. The pics actually look way better than when you see the car in person but really its just the passenger side thats being a pain doesnt want to cooperate but it will .....

a few minor cuts really and heat the bumper to fold and shape the bumper. The lights are alot bigger than the 03+ and making them look factory is the hard part.

Those tail lights look like they belong with that bumper.

You also forgot to mention thats a cf hatch with a cf spoiler molded on. Which will be painted. Weight savings ftw!!!!!

You did a great job mocking those tails to the bumper. Much much better than the last guy I saw do that with his SRT bumper.

This just reassures me that I made the right choice. I sold off my 03+ LED tails and kaminari rear to pick up BUX tails, BUX 00-02 bumper with lights and a Kaminari 00-02 rear lip I'll take a stab at running a euro ass.

All of them - cause they offered the 1999 model till the end. They never offered the 03 facelift in europe....

If any1 really wanna have a set - it's easy for me to find one.
But when i look in the fs area - no1 was intereste din mine for weeks...

Thanks, yea making the taillights fit in there was not as hard as i thought it would be, but man im not gonna say its easy. It probably would have been easier to try to fit the 03 rear lip to an 02 rear bumper but eh.

Got ya I see what your saying so me putting these tailights on is like you putting 03 tails on ur car. Like i said over here its just different ... Lol im some wierd way this is all like some kinda JDM thing for us USDM

I've seen 03-05 Depo LED tail lights on a 00-02 bumper before. It didn't look to good because they had to fiberglass some extra "bumper" because the tails were smaller.

But seeing those bux tails on the 03 looks way better since it's mostly cutting away.

Nice job man. Can't wait to see it done.

Like Jaun said, it isn't the easiest job to do, but it isn't as bad as you would think either.

Yo, I've been wanting to customize an SRT rear bumper to fit the 00-02 tails. But since you proved you can do it... can you? $$$
