You never got permission from the owner of the shop? that wasn't a good idea. Any time i wanted to work on my car i told my old boss if i could stay and work after hours. He would always say yes. he would get mad and to the point he fired me if i stayed and didn't tell him anything. Remeber if something bad happened the boss ( owner ) didn't know you were at the shop late. Its his ass on the line. aka works comp insurance etc etc.

Remember it never hurts to ask hell maybe he won't charge you for any material you use. even the expensive stuff.

This is all possible he i got a free transmission just by asking him for help.

Honestly, if I were the shop owner and you disobeyed using the mediocre stuff and used the good stuff....and did stuff after hours without my knowledge hell yes I'd make you pay. I hate to sound like a bitch but you didn't listen to what they told you to do no wonder why they're so pissed off.

everyone is misunderstood, about the situation.

heres the complete situation.....
i started my job at the begining of june. i was there for 7 days befor the owner went over seas. the owner told us that tina (my manager) is in charge, and so is jo (owners son). a couple weeks went by and jo and tina came to me and said hey. how long will it take you to get your car done. i said not sure why. they said we want to put this car in the car show in a week an a half. that car was the black integra i did. he said if you get this car done and we put it in the show you can do the body work and paint your car. i said deal when do we start. he said we start today after 5. so for a week straight i stayed after and worked on that integra and got it done. so after the car was finished i started to stay after and work on my car. i would stay maybe a day or 2 out of the week. here and there. now the whole time the owners son was staying at the shop with me. the owners son JO didnt want to stay everyday i wanted too. so jo started to leave me the keys so i could work on my car and just leave the keys in a certain spot so he would have them in the mornings. the manager and jo both knew i was working on my car. jo told me that his dad cant find out. and tina the manager said that the owner can not find out either. so this whole situation is between me jo and tina. tina is not mad at me... at all. she is mad at jo because jo has been leaving me and other ppl at the shop. jo isnt mad at me either because he gave me the keys to stay. jo has screwed me over a lot by saying yea were gonna stay tonight and then he would lie to my face about y we couldnt stay that day. there was one week were i was supposed to stay everyday and we only ended up staying one day. jo is so dishonest. let me tell u an example. one sat he left me the keys and said here you go. well tina said its time to go and i said umm joe gave me the keys so i can stay she called jo and then told me go ahead and leave then come bak once she leaves so i did. well when i came bak i started working and about an hour after tina left she came bak. she was pissed cuz jo wasnt there and i was. so jo ended up showing up and jo told me that he told tina why is he here i told him to go home thats bull shit. he made me look like the bad guy. i said no im not havin that so i told tina that jo told me to come bak and gave me the keys to the shop and lied to you. she said i knew it. so shes just fed up with jo and his lies. and tommorow im going to talk to her about working on my car.

yea i used chromaclear, also nick i might be getting a garage to paint ur car in. not sure yet. and not sure about paint yet, either. ill keep u informed

well i hope u get everything figured out ... for one there is alot of people that want to see ur car in paint.. (me included) it seems like the son and the manager needs to start comunicating more....

Haha crystal it has been ran over lol. But it's a strong trooper. Ne whoo. Iv got good news and bad news. Bad news my car won't be done for probably another two weeks. Good news i talked to my manager apologized for everything, she said it wasn't my fault injust shouldn't of listened to Jo. She also said that I can work on my stuff 10-2 on sat. Sooo that means I have to have everything ready to paint on Saturday so I can just come in and shoot the paint and be done with everything. Iv got a distuation I want to run by her that will hopefully speed this process up.

Today I based the skirts and rear. I only can work on it at the shop for an hour. Cuz I gave up my lunch breaks. Also recleared my mirrors, painted my eyelids, painted a new helmet.

Today I plan on painting the hood, and wet sanding the sideskirts and rear bumper. Bad news on the front bumper. I didn't go to work on Monday cuz I had food poisoning, but when I came to work Tuesday the same guy who damaged both fenders damaged my front bumper. So last night I worked on it. He told he did it but there is nothing I can do about it. If I hit him I'll get fired if I damage somethin he's workin in I'll have to fix it cuz it would b a custmers car. Iv already told Jo and my manager. They didn't say shit. More pics tonight tho

I have no idea I'm the only white technician here. Everyone else is Mexican I think he does it cuz it's better then his stuff. He's an older guy that innecer would of thought would do simethin like that. He said the bumper was an accident but the damage that wad caused was No accident, I'm not fuckin stupid. oh fuck. im bouts to pay a visit to the shop when that fucker is there and like mess on his shit. thats messed up how he did it again and they arent doing anything. but shit they are just hatting on you because you came into the shop not too long ago and can do better work than them and the boss likes you. but hopefully there isnt any more incidents. try finding another shop man. with your skill or work im sure u can easily get hired somewhere else like at a dealership bodyshop as a master painter.

btw the paint looks great too.
