so ill try to make this a short story.. i take off for class this morning wich is an hour drive.it wasnt snowing in my town..i head into the next few towns i see snow.im like ok its just snow ill be careful.i pick up my friend at the next town.drive tru town...i was doing 40mph when i slid and smack hit the onramp median wall..whatever its called. im ok and my friend was ok too. umm as you can see the hood is bad the bumper is torn and the right rim curb damage..i just now went to see it and could not pop the hood open cause its sitting on the fender but i did see bentness on the radiator support frame. i contacte insurance already. they might be taking care of me this time again. keep in mind ive had it not 2 weeks since i got it back cause i got new pistons and rods out in wich insurance took care of too since water damage. well thats all. i guess if they consider it totaled im deffiantely going to get a srt4 this time or if i get money then i guess fix it.

I really don't understand why people want an SRT so bad now. The newest one is 5 years old and most have probably been beat to shit.

wich part is the core support ?/ and crash bar took the damage but is bent wich also bent the radiator support part. i couldnt open the hood.. so i dont know how bad it really is.

Show me a car near the price of an SRT-4 with simliar performance. You can get them for almost $5k now. That's a lot of package for a little cash. Not to mention they can take quite a beating...and parts are a SHIT ton cheaper than an STI/Evo

Anyways, I hated that damn bumper...this might be a blessing in disguise.

What tires were you useing when this happened? I'm a big fan of making sure cars have proper all season or winter dedicated tires.

well i didnt have winter or all season tires on. they were Hankook ventus v 12 tires. summer tires.they are brand new..only been running them a month. i hadnt driven them on snow or anything. i guess they suck ass cause i didnt get any traction what so ever.

tell me something i dont know.. hey i didnt know it was snowing. and like the news said there was a total of like 200+ accidents this morning around our area. so i wasnt the only one alone. when the cop got there he just looked at me and said this is number 7 for him. and the tow truck guy said i was number 9.lol.

^And where are you finding them for 5K?

I've seen badly beaten ones for 7-8K at the lowest. Anything decent is going to cost you 10-15K easy.
