Try to get an estimate first before you do that. If that frame is bent then the last thing you want is to be driving a crooked car. Frame time is $$$$Neon4Life wrote:Update: i just spoke with the claims insurance people. they gave me the dollar amount the car is worth and how much it would cost for me to buy it back. its a very very good offer. so im gonna buy it back and ill have way more than enough money to buy the stock body parts and radiator core support and still have cash left over for whatever else.
so now all i gotta do it call him back and tell him yes i want it and ill have the check within a few days and i would have the car back home by tomorrow.

Hey yall. i got some news. ive decided to just not try and fix it and just let it go. it was fun while it lasted. i had some good and bad times with it. but im just gonna take the money they offered me and find me something else. like maybe a 1gn or 2gn or srt4 at a good price. idc about how much insurance will be on it, ill just find a way to pay it somehow. but yeah thats it. im letting go of it and finding a new Neon. oo and they offered to give me $6800 total or it. wich is way more than i expected. so ill keep everyone posted on what i find and what i end up buying.

That is amazing. Progressive said that the Ziebart rustproofing and Diamond Gloss paint treatment didn't "add to the cash value" of my '02 SXT when it got totalled (the car was stock otherwise) so I really got reamed in the settlement amount. You have good insurance!
