CF, PS, Need further input

Once snow is gone for good, I'll be dropping the front back down another 1/2" or more and the pinch welds are going. I've got some ideas for spring, but I though I'd run 'em by the rest of you folks for some mo' input.

Something will be done. I'm just not sure which route I'm going yet.

NOTE - I know a few of them shaved the sidemarkers. Those will be there, still black. Ryan shaved the sidemarkers in old chops, but the rest were done by Tam. Thank you kind sir

Most of you will say the roof and trunk should be black as well. The trunk will NOT be black. The roof WILL be. It's not been chopped because I'm doing that regardless of whether I change any of this or not. So that's why that's not an option lol.

Ryan - that chop looks like plastic wheels.

OB - The SRT skirts come in CF on ebay (it's actually FG and the top two layers or so are CF), and I know 2 people off the top of my head who'd pay what I want for the current skirts, so that mod would be breaking even. As for the lip, it'd likely get sprayed a gloss black to match the roof. Also, I know you're all about "real" mods (for lack of a better term) but the CF is for looks with this theme, so it wouldn't be matched. I've got my stock silver hood if I wanted that. These skirts will only go if I put CF ones on in their place. The doors are pretty haggard from the caps, so I can't risk that for some RT skirts.

I don't think CF holds up too well to the winter elements. (Clear coat peeling/hazing etc) Unless you plan on swapping back to stock stuff during the winter.

Yeah, I was told the same thing about these certifit bumpers, but this one is surprisingly strong. We'll have to see the quality if I get a set of these skirts. As for the hood, yes that would be swapped back during the winter months.

In that case, why not paint the current skirts and lip black instead of worrying about CF? I think CF looks tacky for side skirts anyways. That will save you the trouble of buying/selling, and you can keep the OE quality. Two tone isn't for me, though. Even raw CF hoods are starting to bug me lately!

Hmmm....Lately I've been on quite the colormatching run, but after seeing an amazing car with the CF style as these chops, I'm damn near sold.

Also, many people on here use the "*insert color here* and black theme" because in reality it's not easy for them to get their lip kit painted. My skirts and lips ARE painted. IMO, CF is on the same level as being painted. Just doing it black would give it the look, but I would feel like I shorted the project doing it that way. CF is so much nicer as a lip kit than black. Wouldn't look "unfinished."

Hood, roof, trunk, Silverstones = Matte Black.
Everything else = Silver.

I say current setup or black stones, but I voted for Current. I don't care for the CF look to be honest, I do like the shaved markers that Ryan did though that looks clean as hell.

The only thing I've really been torn on is matte roof or gloss.
