It's terrible, I have over 10,000 from 2007 until now of car related things. You have no idea how many times me taking pictures of random shit I did came in handy though!!

Love the way Nee is turning out. Question for you about painting the wheels if I may?

I'm going to be painting the wheels I use for winter for my R/T and was wondering about the process. Obviously I'll need to tape off the tires, but what's the process for prepping and painting the rims? Do I use a primer as well or is the paint enough by itself. Also, I understand I'll have to sand the wheel as part of the prep...do I sand it just enough to get it roughed up or is there more to it than that? Your advice on this is greatly appreciated.

I sanded them down with 320 grit sandpaper until they had a uniform finish and all the orange peel was gone. I cleaned them with brake cleaner, taped them off, cleaned them again and then sprayed three medium coats on them waiting about 5-10 minutes in between each. I used Rustoleum wheel paint this time and to be honest I didn't care for it as much as the Duplicolor formula.

To do the 15s, you'll need two cans but won't use all of it. Barely 1.5 cans.

I'm thinking of doing mine. I wonder if the black would look good with midnight blue.

Thanks Crystal. So I'm going to assume, since you didn't mention it, that no primer is needed. Thanks again for the info.

You really only need primer if the surface has body work done to it, damage you want to fill or you're down to the metal. None of these applied, so you would just scuff up the factory finish and go from there.

I was leaning more toward gunmetal. Now if we didnt have such cold weather i'd be doing it

thats how mine where when i had freshly new lowering springs.. a month later you saw them settled down.

Yeah I'm expecting it will take a bit longer than usualy because of the cold temps as well.
