first time drive of my 97 coupe

Post by alsey_seven » Mon Mar 15, 2010 7:31 pm

well after paying 400.00 in registration dues i got a temp permit to drive her. Since it is my first time driving stick i can finally say "wow" more control over car power. I did buck the car a few times but after an hour got used to the taking off from 1st gear. I think 1st gear is the most difficult then to learn when driving.

I had a few times i had a hill to stop damn its scary. lucky for me there were no car behind me. The freeway is the easiest thing to do its around town that a bitch stop and go traffic at 5pm.

One thing i can say is that i still love my 3sd trans 00 neon great for city but long drives and well other things I'll drive the coupe

2 pictures first one jump starting it battery was dead 2nd rim of the car

You are not the envy of many with some trunk package wheels.

Did you know if had them before you bought it?

I doubt anyone will let you buy just one as that screws up a very valuable set.

After driving standard I find it bothersome to drive automatics, the control factor is greater with manuals :). I like those trunk wheels.

After driving nothing but autos for 4 months (Prius and Caliber), I hopped in my Neon to get it ready for this weekend with a new battery and drove it a little bit.

I went into work the next day and asked my boss that my next company car have a manual trans.
