I think you mounted the lip too high. It's touching the fog light areas. It should be sitting a little bit lower.

i mounted the top of the lip below were the foglight area rolls out. any lower looked funny so thats where i stuck with

The grille or the lip? I agree that the lip is too high and uneven. I hate the unfinished look of it since it's cut. The grille is too open, and you can see right through it. I'm sure from 10+ ft. out, it looks fine though.

thanks guys. hopefully by sunday ill have the skirts and rear bumper on and painted
and i didnt mold the lip together or to the bumper because if i hit a curb it would just tear it off or crack it and make it look like crap

So instead you've got it bolted on in two pieces? Any bumping or anything will let at least half of it fall off and drag...I know mine is mounted to the bumper TIGHT and it's all one piece. Plenty of scrapes and a few scratches / scuffs, but it's not going anywhere and looks tits still.

Thanks man. I mean, it's a tad more work, but it looks like it belongs there and you don't have to check it everytime you get out of the car to see if it fell off

A poly resin. When it dries it's basically urethan plastic. Holds super tight.

I think it's everything from the lip being two pieces, the grille needing a surround right down to the ride height. If the lip was molded together and lower it might flow better. Not saying it looks bad, just the unfinished nature of it.
