First off, aout 2 months ago I bottomed out leaving the school.







So I decided now is the time to fix this crack, cuz it bugs me and although it's not visible, I feel like it gets stared at. So I got down there to work on it.

All-in-all, I'm extremely satisfied. Best $4 mod ever. The lip is even, and the holes aren't terrible, but some are little bigger than I'd like

I'm keeping my eye out for purple ties to match the lugs, but who knows what colors I'll swap to. I may eventually make the holes a bit bigger and go two through every single one so it looks more "stitched."

u shoulda used some epoxy like i did. nowi gotta do it again cuz i hit a fucking skunk a week ago.

I originally used a polyurethane resin so it was like "molded." Hammering the street didn't do much for it, and the bottom of the lip is all scraped up and whatnot, so I said eff it. It'd need some sanding and paint and crap to look right, so in this case $4>$100+.

Josh - I didn't get home from the store until after 5... but it took me a whopping 20 minutes to do it....including stops for pictures.

I love it! Need that black purple crossover thing going on though dude, andddd you are not very low. You can get your emergency jack under the pinch weld, while I cannot anymore. Hehe

I can't get it under the rear! That counts!

Josh, I tried Failmart, Lowe's, Menard's, and finally Home Depot. DH had all those bright colored ones, but not purple. Now I'll order some online or something and do like Steven said and cross-stitch purple and black.

Yeah, except that Scoobie is fucking hideous. If I needed that many ties to save my lip, I'd be gettin' a new lip. This was a cheap alternative that helps me try to fit into other crowds / scenes.

you could buy a honda/vw, then you'd fit into the scene!
