Tokico shocks and springs added last week.
This was suppose to give me 1.4" drop.
I was very happy with the final result.

^^ give him a month and then ask him again. It usually takes 1 month for the springs to settle down.
Looks good tho.
It'll be a hair lower once they get settled down

Nice choice, that should be a solid setup. What are the rates on Tokico's springs? Anyone know?

I would say that I got more drop from the rear that for sure.
Maby Ooh!! 2.75" or 3".
Anyway Looks and performes better than the stock that is true thanks DR. GONZO.
See I was going to buy thoses coilovers at a price tag of 999.99$ at Modern Performance.
I was told that the coilovers gives you a hard ride cause the spring is too small. Anyway I'm very glad with my choice and I wanted thoses coilovers cause I drive my car in the winter but then again if the SRT's can drive in the winter so can I. Nothing wrong with the SRT's B.T.W I was only using this as a example.
Next thing on the agenda the body kit. The body shop told me arround May 25th. Well thanks for all the comments.

I have an SRT-4 which already rides bad, but we don't have actual winter weather in New Orleans

Well, whoever told you coils suck didn't have theirs dialed in right.
Don't get me wrong, I had the same Tokico setup as you for a few weeks. It wasn't bad.
My coils got me damn low, and they are FIRM, not stiff. Plus, they ride fine. No clunking or harshness (unless I ram a pothole). When the car is raised up, it is the same as stock, with the height of some Eibach springs.
Either way, looks good BRA.

Good choice with the Tokicos! I just installed mine recently.
Great performance for the price IMO.

1-Well, whoever told you coils suck didn't have theirs dialed in right. Well you can come over here and tell this to my mechanic.
He was just saying like you said they are stiffer compare to what I bought. As for going lower I can't, over here there's alot of potholes and there is alot of speed bumps.
Anyway !! Thanks for the imput on coils but they are over price in my book and I will get myself a other car in 5 years.
Hey !! It's all good.

Well duh. I'll gladly tell your mechanic he's a moron. What I'm saying is people in the market for any lowering, coils or not, are looking for a stiffer ride and spring rate. Your mechanic thinks coils suck because they don't ride like stock? Don't go to a dealer then
There are no misconceptions. Coils are worth the suspension upgrade. I understand your money reasoning for not getting some, but you'd be surprised at what their capabilities are. Also, not lowering more because of "potholes" and "rough roads" is lame. Your suspension is going to clunk and rattle anyway, and the ride wont be pleasant. Even in a stock vehicle, it's like that. We've all learned to drive accordingly.

Ok kid !!! Your just 20 years old buddy. You think you know everything about life. Just looking at your profile you don't even have a picture of your car.
2- My mechanic was changing the oil on is first car while you fell down your high chair.
What I'm saying is people in the market for any lowering, coils or not, are looking for a stiffer ride and spring rate.
Yeah !! You sound like your in the market too smart ass. Hope for you that you will grow out of it.
By adding coils dumb ! dumb ! You are adjusting your own setting.
Your mechanic thinks coils suck because they don't ride like stock? Don't go to a dealer then

Did I mention anything about the dealer dumb ! dumb !
Also, not lowering more because of "potholes" and "rough roads" is lame.
Again

And what are you talking about !!?

Did you teach yourself on how to drive !!?
WOW !!! ♪♫♪♪♫♫
Your a big kid now ♫♪♫♪♪♫

not adding fuel to the fire but if you haven't riden on a set of BC's, then you don't know what your missing.

....love mine, and i can't stand a harsh ride.
and honestly, adjustable dampening, adjustable spring, adjustable height, front camber plates, slutted struts for 250 a corner. How much did you end up spending on struts and springs that you will need mounts for?
last time i installed a complete suspension on a car, 250 for springs, 150 a corner for struts, 70 a corner for mounts. That's more than the coils, without the ability to adjust, the struts weren't even slotted. He had to buy camber bolts!

my springs were like 200$ and my struts were like 280$ i don't need to drop a G note and have all the extra adjustments that coilovers give you.

You would be surpirsed how soft the bc coilovers are when the damper is set to soft, The bes coilovers IMO.

A good set of coil-overs will not make the car ride rough. It isn't spring rate alone that determins how a car rides/handles, but damping as well. My MP/KWs feel very civil around town.

Hey Lane, ask Tam how nice the roads are here. I'm fairly certain he hadn't ridden but 2 miles in my car when he said "Dude I would NOT be anywhere near slammed on coils if I lived here."
Also, Warrior, I talk like I know everything? Or I talk like I've been through 4 different suspension setups? I don't need pictures of my car in my profile. G'head and check any of my picture posts. They speak for themselves.
I've never seen a 67 year old man or some dude bitchin' about his "oil mechanic" while I had Cheerios stuck to my face get so damn butthurt over an opinion or statement based on hard evidence.
EDIT:
Congrats on the multiquote. Since I've messaged both you AND Laneholt without any responses, I'll tell you here:
You don't type properly. Talking down to someone because they are younger doesn't prove anything, especially when your English is butchered.
You multi-quoted me, and then agreed with me? Either way, what you type isn't coherent @ all. Sorry for misinterpreting it. I was too busy studying in my high chair instead of saying coils suck while I changed oil in some econo-box. Also, I'm in the market for what? Jesus I can't comprehend anything you've written. I understood more when I accidentally sat in on a German class instead of Spanish.
Also, one last bit for reference:
Happy? I'm plenty low, and it's going a bit lower in a week or so. My roads are shit, but neither of you would know. Also, the car ride is comfortable, and I'm on a "cheaper" brand of coils.
Mods, sorry I was a dickback just now, and I guess earlier in this thread. Feel free to suspend me for a week or warn me or whatever. It's cool. If one of these guys would have responded to my messages, it would have been easier. Sorry.
