well i just couldn't help myself, the price was right, and even tho i should be puttin my steelies on i just had to grab these. Bought em from a friend, Motegi MR4's, 17". The ride is a little rougher, but the handling is much much better, i could feel it as soon as i was pulling outta the driveway. Unfortunately at the first sign of snow they're coming off and the steelies&snows are going on. Daylight pics will be up soon, these are the best i could get.

and yes...that is a big scratch on my front bumper, one of my buddies from work backed into me. but thankfully he was good enough to phone me and tell me he'd done it (i didn't even notice it until he phoned and told me he'd done it the night before ). Thankfully he's gunna pay for it to be fully repaired.

well, it seems i'm not gunna be buying these after all. since they were my buddies old rims he let me try em before i buy em, and i've desided to buy something new instead of used. i do like these rims alot, but i'm leaning towards gunmetal with a polished lip instead. plus i figure it's more sensible to save monet for college and perhaps get rims in a while. ooh well, dems the breaks

I love the wheels! What size tire is that?
*just noticed* that you're not gonna keep 'em. Sorry. But what size tire is that anyway?

haha yeh yeh i know it need to be dropped. but since i don't think i'll be keeping the rims, and winter is approaching i think i'll wait till next spring/summer to get lowering springs...maybe get some new rims at that time too. i love the way these look, it's just a shame that there's speed wobble, and i should be saving for college haha. but i have no clue what the speed wobble is from! all the wheels are balanced perfectly, they're not bent, and it's got two new tires on the front...i just wish it woulda worked out
PS as far as tire sizes go, i'll go check tomorrow, i'm too lazy right now haha

those tires (falken ziex right?) are supposed to be year round. my first set of rims had a set of these badboys and used them till there was barely no visible thread left. they still gripped great, and quite decently in the snow. i had one late spring snow day on them and they behaved quite well ( a lot more thread then), no where as bad as my current nexen3000s which are defeated by an inch of snow

unless it's icy dont worry too much about being caught in the snow with those tires on, you should be able to make it home just fine

yeh, all the lugs were torqued correctly, and i re-balanced all the wheels, and even put the new ones to the rear, but still no luck. so it looks like i'm back to stock snowflakes

I had the same problem with my aftermarket wheels but got used to it. Only on the higway did they wobble a bit. Get some centric hub rings, that erases the speed wobble. I bought mine at justforwheels.com and guess what...They sent me the wrong flippin size, So try another place that sells them, just google it. That should eleminate the problem.
Not to hijack the thread or anything, but I had my huge 14'' steelies put on yesterday.

Also put my stock tailights back on.

looks like my front bumper is a different color.

Did you make sure to remove the factory retaining clips from the rotors? That could possibly make your wheels wobble even if they are balanced. The factory wheels have an indent for the clips, most aftermarket ones don't.
