If you didn't have gap insurance, I hope they don't total it. :(

Yep, those XJ's are pretty flimsy as far as holding up in a crash. Definitely don't ever want to get T-Boned in mine, after seeing first hand what an F150 will do to one. Driver's door was touching the passenger's door. As for the woman that ran the stop light, well, lets just say RIP.

I had gap insurance when I 1st bought it, but I think I lost it when I refinanced the car. Its ok if the total it. It would just suck to junk a mechanically good car.

:) If the car is totalled, you should have the right to buy it from the insurance for the "salvage value". I did that with a 1986 Dodge Ramcharger,
and drove it for 3 years after the wreck.

:( The bad part was it had a salvage title, and it was hard to sell when I got tired of it, due to Carfax, and other insurance reporting companies.
Look at the eBay listings for used cars with low prices.

Thats true, but I still owe money on the car. Id buy it back if the money would cover the payoff as well as the buy back price..

Im not sure how these things work. Im just assuming that when you owe on a car and its totaled, they pay it off for you. and thats it.

If they gave me a trunk with holes, then yes . but since it has no holes, its all good. Love the ingless look.

no they didnt paint the front end. He wanted 500 for the front end. Im gonna get it done later on. My father will do it for free minus the cost of materials.

I thought that was a given... you don't get into a fender bender and ask the insurance company to pay for a new set of rims... :tardbang:

Anyways, the back looks friggin awesome! Glad it wasn't totaled :)
