Wow, my car will have a lot to live up to at Carlisle. I don't know about OEM though since it lost the original hood and front fascia in the accident.

Gramps: Shhhhh no one knows that unless you tell them! But it's still all OEM and that's hard to find

. SO have your cake and eat it too!!
Nick: Lies....all of them.
Phasmatis: That's the cool thing about this color, how much it changes from day to night. It looks more purplish in the shade and at night than it does during the day. Tough color to capture in a picture.

Thank you!
Dblsg: LOL! Thank you

Car is looking great. Gotta love 'high noon' at a sunny car show, eh?! Reflections and flare like whoa.

Actually most of the old school guys love the car because they "get" the theme without me having to explain it to them. They're impressed that a little four cylinder is that capable. Though you still get the few who are absolutely flabbergasted as to what today's four cylinders can do with the right mods.
I know that feeling .... I special-ordered my 1972 Plymouth Satellite 400cid engine, sure grip (positraction) rear axle, etc. about 200 hp from the factory ....
my 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 (approx) 145cid engine - conservatively 230 hp from the factory in a much lighter car

Sykora: Thanks! Where have you been hiding!?
Chris: Thank you

Yeah it was a super bright, clear, hot day so I made the best of it that I could. It doesn't help matters any that my car's color is super hard to take a picture of anyhow

.
Lane: Funny isn't it? It shocks a lot of them that a four cylinder is that capable, yet some others are still in denial that it's that capable at all.

My favorites at local cruises are those guys who own things, like a 1970 Chevelle SS 454, and ask me "Why do you drive a Neon?"
I explain that "stock it goes 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 153 mph, with only 230 horsepower. My future plans include
Hahn RaceCraft stage 3 upgrades which will yield at least 400 horsepower"
As they say on the MasterCard commercials, the look on their face is priceless

I really need to get my FP Green Mopar S3R in....I have everything for it here, except the time to do it! I've had it for 18 months. It's brand new, coated and all.
