Same issue here. I wouldn't worry about it though since their are people on here that daily drive their slammed cars with no issues during the harsh midwest winters.01neonrtblk wrote:man i wish i could just park my car for the winter, but i cant, and it sucks worse that my coilovers are seized, i cant raise itsmiley wrote:Looks good, not looking forward to winter at all
Very clean ride, and of course it had to rain the next day.

Had Ziebart apply the winter coat of Diamond Gloss last Thursday and then it rained on Saturday (and today). The SRT will get a well-deserved break this winter starting in January when I get a company take-home car (the Subaru that I'm driving at work).
Your car looked good! Don't you hate Murphy's Law when it comes to washing your car?

I did the same thing on Monday--in anticipation of it raining yesterday. I'm fairly sure that my ACR hadn't been waxed for about 2 years (only put 10,000 miles on it in that time) but at least hibernated in a garage through the last two winters. Nothing like a good wash and wax to bring out the splits, cracks, and gunk in the bumper cover. Pretty sure that's just a total loss.
It has the cleanest/driest/shiniest undercarriage I've ever seen, but unfortunately, I need a DD, not a summer queen.

Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.
