Oh, so this is why I can't find a red one to keep my yellow one company.

I've been collecting 1/18 scale diecast since the 1980's and have modified a few, so I can appreciate the "craftmanship" in this one.sidepipe87 wrote: I began modifying a Maisto SRT-4 into a replica of my 1:1 SRT swapped neon. I never finished this but I need to... Started off by cutting out the entire front end and recreating the SXT bumper and Mopar lip out of styrene plastic. Still in a rough unfinished stage here
I shaved the stock spoiler and made a molded PVO spoiler with styrene and putty

I keep up with the diecast hobby too...
I'm a little surprised with the millions and millions of cars put out, and new ones coming out all the time (I.E., especially Hot Wheels...) that there is not a nice realistic SRT-4 put out
Hot Wheels just recently put out a very realistic 1990 Honda EF Hatch.... and there is already a 1/64th scale new Dodge Dart out there...
That 1st gen Neon Drag car mentioned earlier in this thread is a bummer

2004 SE... doin it one piece at a time
yeah i figured it would be damn near impossible to get it to look like an r/t, i would be fine with srt rims though.sidepipe87 wrote:Justin it'd still have SRT body like nick's and id have to try to find wheels close to silverstones. Ps2 paint i could do.
