You don't need all of 'em... perhaps steal me one on the next junkyard run?

Looks like a cool project to keep yourself out of trouble for the winter, at least.

Sean, I do need em all because proper torque is key!

Idk if I'll make progress over the winter or not. well significant progress on the motor anyway. I'm gonna toss the vipers in the 05 soon and probably in the spring that car will get some work doe to it. I'm in no hurry.

Why wouldn't you do the work over the winter so you can enjoy the Silver car in spring/summer?

Trade those SRT wheels to V95 and then let me buy the fat 5's. Win.

Good luck dude, if you ever need a hand, gimme a call, although I know Kyle knows his shit too, and he's close.

cheap enough lol

Sean - Idk, because I need money and time. If I come across either I will start on it. I have no where to work on it at my leisure and its cold as fuck. I work 8-5 now leave at 640 and get home at 6 pm. I'm whooped and still need to learn what I need to know to do my job.

Jerry - thanks. The 05 is gonna be gettin some lovin from this car too.

Ah, well that makes sense then. As for money, I'd suggest selling parts you know you won't use (doors for example if anybody is nearby and needs them) scrapping the shell etc. Should get enough for some parts of your motor build at least.

Or sell yourself on the corner.

sidepipe87 wrote:Wheels - as of right now stock turbo build. As far as I know the turbo is good. But god damn is the stock turbo tiny lol. If I went bigger, I wouldn't go much bigger. I need to stay on stock PCM and I want it to stay reliable.
yeah i hear you man. you gonna do full bolt-ons then? i got an injen intake i was gonna try and use but irs going to take alot more then i thought to make it fit lol if you need it lmk

LCR has a "Stage 3" setup for like $1300 if you ever want to "upgrade" the turbo but still rock a stocker.

Check them out in the SRT vendor section.

Seriously nice find. And best of luck with it. Also like Jerry said If you need a hand at all just let me know. And my advice to you is since you want to rock the stock pcm, just buy another stock motor, replace anything you can before and drop it in since you already have everything else, theres no point in rebuilding when you can get a used motor for under $900 and actually last year I found my friend a motor for $600. Unless your all about rebuilding just for your satisfaction.

You're gonna have to fill me in on this apparent time travel you're doing on the way home. That could really help out with my commute.

Chris - I worded that horribly. I meant I leave for work at 640 am and get home at 6 pm

Juan - thanks dude, I think I'm gonna rebuild it though since it's already apart and seeing what the valves look like I'd rather have the cleaned up.

John - good to know, I'll look into that.

Wheels - most likely, yeah. I doubt I'll go into any crazy internals. I'll let ya know about that Injen too if you still have it when I'm looking

Sean - I am using the doors though, so I know I do need them. sunroof, crash bars are what I know I don't need right now.

lol it's getting scrapped once I yank the fuel tank, exhaust, and rear suspension off it. The front core support was cut so we could lift the shell up over the engine to roll it back.

sucks you cant section the qtrs, B posts and A posts to sell off to body shops or some one who needed those parts to fix their car.. i know places we get them from like LKQ and other salvage yards charge like at least 350 a qtr section..

by sidepipe87
damn... I could actually use them myself, but the effort wouldn't be worth it. I'm just going to sawzall the car in half probably and scrap it.

id ask around first to see if anyone would want the shell or sections off it.. never know who might want them or what not.

i mean if we would have kept the silver 00 for ourselfs id be hitting you up to come grab the sunroof skin..

Nice find. Is that Monroeville Dodge that the SRT-4 is parked at in the first couple of pics?

Even with the bad condition of the seat covers? Are you going to at least get the driver's side seat cover repaired or replaced. I couldn't handle having a tear in the seat, especially with how many are in that driver's seat.

You should let me get the pass side front door...

^no.

Travis - yes, all the other seats are perfect so these are going in. That one has those two rips. I'll just put some black duct tape over the holes. The 05 is just a beater and these seats are way more comfortable than sxt seats IMO. The nice vipers are in the 03.

Toast - Yes. That's where I bought it from. My dad works there.

Ryan - Yeah, I had thought about the roof skin for the sunroof, but the shell as a whole is worthless because I cut the radiator support out at the bottom so I could lift the car over the engine since I had no engine crane.

Damn straight.

A torn seat cover shows signs of way too much ass puckering.

Torn seat covers are for the passenger seats only!

Sean - I have a herniated disk in my back, and even though the bare shell weighs only a few hundred pounds and my brother was helping too, saving the shell isn't as important to me as not re-injuring my back. I don't want to go through that hell again... We put a floor jack under the center of the car, lifted it as high as we safely could then hacked off the bottom of the core support when we needed a few extremely inches of clearance.
