at least it's easy to get at. time for a "cabin filter". or at least some screen in your cowl.
most the nissan i work on get mouse houses in the blower motors and its a whole dash removal job.

JeffM: lol I have no idea bud! Sister totaled the car back in 12/2009 so it sat for about 6 months in one of my open garages. When I decided to finally sell the Audi, I fixed the Neon back up to be my DD. Well, I've had it back on the road now for a couple weeks and when I'd go to use the heat, it was SOOO loud. Finally looked in the Haynes, pulled out the blower motor and this is what I found

Hell, it could probably host a home for birds, mice AND squirrels! lol
WhiteNeon: Sure thing bud, born & raised in the burgh.
bigtommy: Awe man, nothing's worse than having to tear a dash all apart for a simple fix. As I said, I owned an Audi A6 bi-turbo so every single thing that car needed had 100 steps of removing every surrounding part before you could even get to the part in need. Was a complete PITA and a car that was expensive as hell to maintain. I dropped $9k in 2 years just on maintenance...me doing 95% of the labor.

Crystal: LOL yea I found a whole family of possums
Mid Life: The HVAC system was actually working perfectly, besides the LOUD obnoxious buzzing/vibrating due to the blower motor cage being knocked off balance.
sidepipe: I've lived all around the burgh including Robinson Twp for 3 years, Greentree for 2 years, and now I'm back in school full time at Cal Univ. so I moved south of the city. You?
