Yesterday two idiot street racers hit speeds of over 140 mph the Long Island Expressway before the Neon SRT driver wrecked into a gas station and the Lancer crashed into a Hooters. Luckily, no one was killed. The NYDailyNews.com story calls them "drag racers," but real drag racers take it to the track.

Did the interior, bumper, tail lights, trunk, etc melt or fly off or something? It's hard to imagine a trunk melting and there'd be something left of the seats, door panels, and shit. This thing looks stripped.

It hit a gas pump. Anything would melt.

I wouldnt say theyre that lucky.. theyre pretty much fucked now for 1. street racing 2. blowing up a gas station

They're way more fucked than that, surprisingly. I saw what they were charged with. Something like: 2nd degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, vandalism, failure to stop, fleeing arrest, engaging in competition of speed, and of course speeding.
