Fuzzy: Thanks!!
I don't know if I could ever bring myself to do that. Right now I need to focus on saving up for a clutch first and foremost and then coilovers to replace the rear struts :\.
Anthony: Thank you!!
Means alot. I'm sure we'll be in the same place at the same time at some point this year. Just not sure if it'll be Carlisle, this tune cost me a pretty penny all said and done but it's SO worth it.

Anthony: Thank you!!

nice shots and #'s
once the boost is turned up and the clutch holds, would you say it has a 400hp run in it?

NIGEL tuned ftw...
Nice numbers for a shitty clutch.
I have a South Bend Modular stage 3 in my car...Ive heard bad about it and a lot of good. I LOVE mine.... I abuse the hell out of it and its suppose to hold 450+ tq. It feels like stock and drives just like it... when racing it grabs HARD too.

r/tguy: Thanks! And yeah there's definitely around 400 horse in there easily, especially with the cams.
John: Thanks
The clutch actually isn't shitty, it's just not for my purposes anymore
. It held it's own for awhile. I'll probably go with the ACT XTSS Street Disc, it's rated to 585wtq, so that should be safe for me
<3 Nigel and Jay. Two geniuses at work, it was amazing. Well worth the small fortune I spent.
Montell: Thanks!
John: Thanks

Yeah that's another reason I don't want a puck clutch, the harsh engagement just isn't for me. Plus driving it on the street kills the longevity. The street disc with the XT holds 585wtq and it's under rated so I should be safe with that
. I was looking at the South bends and a few other companies and they just don't make what I want in a clutch that isn't a puck
.
I have plenty of time to ponder this though

04MoNeon: Too much yet still not enough. I've lost my mind when it comes to spending money on my car but I adore it! I have an Excel spreadsheet with almost everything on it but it's a silly number.
Kyle: My god do you ever! He's a genius, honestly and truly. Him and Jay worked so flawlessly together you would have thought they work at the same shop. How far are you from RI/MA? We're trying to get the two of them back up here sometime late in the summer.

I think when I checked last it was like an 8 hour drive to one of your meets. I guess I could make a road trip out of it as long as school hasn't started. Will be expensive though lol.

Kyle: Tell me about it, the expense is insane, but when you consider everything you're getting with the two of them there, it's so worth it. We spent a fortune because of how long I was on the dyno, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. <3 Jay and Nigel.
MyNeonSaysHi: I can't figure out why the hell they blew! I did nothing with them, they're sub-15k miles the car was sitting over the winter and them bam, just the rear two...leaking like all get out. Makes zero sense, never heard of anything like it. As for the clutch if I DO go with the ACT, it will be the DN4-XTSS, I'm right at the brink of the HDSS torque capacity before bind, so I'd rather not cut it too close and be sorry about it later. To me, in regard to a clutch, there's no such thing as it being able to hold "too much". I wouldn't go with a twin disc or anything but if I'm spending $800, I only wanna spend it once.
Boneyard: Thanks! Means alot coming from you

I'm actually surprised it didn't make more power
I know the slipping clutch probably had a lot to do with it, but considering the turbo and supporting mods you have, it thought it would be in the 425/500 range.
Hell, my car makes 305/415 on a stock motor with MSnS. 3" intake and exhaust.
Still a damn fine ride, and I can't wait to see the REAL numbers it puts down!

Chris your right, all said and done it should be, it's not even at 3/4 of the power it's capable of. The clutch bled down to 16psi so we couldn't get up to the 26-27psi that we were going for. But it still made 446wtq at 16psi so another 10psi and I should be right around there. I can't wait!
Fail clutch
Oh and it was a Mustang dyno too, so take that into consideration.
Fail clutch

When I had mine dynoed it was on a mustang dyno, def reads lower #s than it actually has. Are you going to use a dynojet or dynapack dyno next time?
