The car has 12mm spacers on it now, and I think it makes the wheels look a lot better. Needs a drop, but won't be getting one. So get used to it.

Thanks everyone! I like the car a lot....I feel lucky to have found an unmolested R/T this nice.

The paint does look really good in the pictures. But part of that is the lighting, and me making sure I took good angles. lol. In reality the paint is fine...but definitely needs attention. There are lots of scratches that will come out, and the whole car is one big swirl mark.

However, I have at my disposal some very nice car detailing products. What I do not have at my disposal is lots of time. I really need a day and a half to do it right. The first day is just wash, clay and dry. Let it sit overnight, and then I could probably easily spend 8 hours working the whole car over with intermediate swirl remover, fine swirl remover, polish and glaze. When this will all happen, who knows. But it's a goal anyway.

Then I'll be able to take pictures of it in full sunlight, from any angle and it will still look like a slippery black torpedo.

And also, are the wheels sitting flush with the body with the 12mm spacers or is it poking out at all? I remember a guy using 25mm spacers in the rear with silverstone wheels and they were just as flush as yours in the pics. hmmm

Can't do it just yet. Maybe some Vogtland's on some Tokico HP's in the future.

Technically the spacers are .5". Which is 12.7mm. It probably looks wider because I have 205/55 tires on. The wheels don't poke, the tires do at the widest point just a tiny bit.

I've run the full 1" spacers before, on my old car with SRT-4 wheels and thin tires. I had to grind the fenders though, so it didn't rub. Rolling the rear fenders would have done the same thing, but I had a grinder, not a roller.
