Welp, just finished up putting on my custom vinyl eyelids. I went to a vinyl shop and picked up a couple feet of some matte black vinyl (like EvilCreations suggested) and took about 2 hours to make stencils, cut them out, and put 'em on. I originally just wanted to save some money by making them on my own and I decided to throw in a twist and make some custom ones that nobody else has. So, here are some pictures, let me know what you guys think.

Those look good, but a little too subtle for me. I was originally thinking about painting mine on to match the color of the car - I have a reason why they are matte black finish, but that will be revealed at a later date.

Lookin great man......did you have to do much shrinking to make the vinyl fit right? or are they small/short enough that you didn't need to?

Actually, I didn't do any shrinking. It was kinda' a bitch, but we (the fiance and I) just worked out the bubbles and creases as best we could and had to slit them in a couple spots to get the sides to lay down. We had the highbeams on a bit to warm up the vinyl to make it a little more workable... It was only 39 degrees outside when we did it. I'm pretty damn happy how they turned out.

looks pretty damn good dood.... now get the hood painted matte black, and some matte black strobe stripes down the side to match!

Anybody else have an opinion to share? Like 'em? I know there's more than 3 people in this community.

Well if you must know, i don't like em, but i don't like any eyelids. Sorry.

not my cup of tea personally...but i am going for the whole carbon fiber theme on my car....

i think theyre pretty cool i love eyelids. im gettin the CF ones, i love carbon! good job tho looks clean

Thanks guys! I was tempted to cut out a couple more pair and see if anyone wanted them. Keeping them limited to keep them a bit unique.

i think they look straight.... sort of, i guess more like angled...
