Well, i've always wanted a new set of rims, but the more i think of it the more i believe i should wait and save my money and perhaps buy rims after i'm done my college&apprenticeship. Aaaanyways, i was wondering if people could post up pics of their custom snowflake rims. either fully painted, or somewhat painted (in spokes, face only etc etc). Even SRT-4 rims that have been done up, seeing as they basically look the same. I'm just lookin for ideas as a cheap alternative to spending 1000 on a new set of rims and rubber.

And since i'm on the rim subject, i put up a poll to see what people think about black rims on a dark colored car, i dunno if black rims would look outta place, or if gunmetal would be better suited.

IMO niether would look as good as Bronze will look on a Patriot Blue neon.

louie has a flame red with bronze snowflakes.

My vote: Gunmetal w/ Polished Lip

rustoleum midnight metallic black w/ rustoleum clear coat

I vote for Bronze wheels too. Dont just paint the rim, it would look funny, paint the whole WHEEL.
