south really....kinda near that new big walmart and home depot. It is on chapman hwy(hwy 411) comes from downtown all the way to the mountains. I live about 5 mins from downtown side though. I work out west though. So how does our traffic compare to up there? I always bitch about it, but wonder how it is everywhere else.
I-640 is the by pass. I-40 is what goes straight through.

Knoxville_R/T... the traffic wasn't bad at all but it was 8-9PM and easy to get through. On the way back it was super easy to get through... just flew down 640 without any probs... that was on a Monday afternoon around 3-4PM or so I think.

But anyway... BACK TO THE PICTURES... I think they came out really well even though as soon as we'd pull into a pull off area that was empty, 3 big SUVs would fly in and park right next to us screwing up the pictures. She pulled in first and then after looking at them it looked better if her car was on the other side of mine and farther away from the people. Right before she walks to her car she says something to the affect of "Watch... soon as I move it someone will walk over behind the cars..." so she's walking to her car to move it and gets in, starts it up and sure enough... guy that wasn't in the picture before decides the view is better 20feet to the left (it's the same damn view! ) and walks right in the middle of the picture and even looks at us with me having the tripod setup. Just ignores us and we wait a little bit to see if he'd move... next thing you know his huge wife walks over to him and now she's in the picture... UGH! Every time we pulled into a spot SOMEONE would pull in right next to us and mess it up haha. Bah well... maybe we can get some better ones later since the New Years weekend was packed with people. What an experience that was just trying to take some simple pictures... it was either people in the picture or having to go 15mph behind a slow minivan going up the mountian and stopping right in the middle of the road to take a picture.

this is the only chapter in this forum that has ever put a lag on my ISP, damn diablo..
According to rescent online test I run through my DSL as fast as a T1 line....
Im sure theres other people on 2GN complaining but they cant respond to a chapter they cant view. Its pretty bad a SIG has a size limit that everyone can view, but when you post a topic, you need power and instant cable to just go online to view it..
I know there are MANY people that would want to have screensavers, pics etc of you or chic...the pics NEED to be downsized!

please...

19.534 seconds to load the first page of this thread. Not bad. The first time was like a minute. :) On cable, of course.

Obsessed with martial arts equiptment since I saw swords and nunchucks being sold in some random stores... that and the random stores that sell random t-shirts. Yeah... the pancake thing is a bit crazy also... walk a block and there's a pancake/breakfast resturant haha. But the little town is fun and when you run out of things to do or see there's always Pigeon Forge and that place is kinda like a Vegas strip for children hahaha

Btw...

At first glance, it might seem as though downtown Gatlinburg is owned by Robert L. Ripley, as the Ripley entertainment corporation owns so many attractions here. I think by sheer volume, the number of Ripley attractions is second only to the number of pancake houses in downtown Gatlinburg. Why pancake houses? I don't know. I asked locals and nobody seems to know, not even folks at the convention and visitors bureau. But hey, I love pancakes as much as the next guy, and you can get them in all of their glorious forms in Gatlinburg.
