Very nice! You ever think about tinting the windows? Not only would it go with the new tails but tints would look nice on a silver car (and many other colors).

Tint coming up this spring. Can't wait...I've been putting it off, and using the money for parts. Tint, carbon fiber hood, new headlights (ones really fading bad) and a couple other things (secret for now

) will be happening next. That is, besides everything I mentioned in my "swap" post that I still need to do.
Thanks for the compliments so far guys and gals.

That car is so awesome and clean. No flashy body kit or glowing lights. Just one beautiful Neon that has been modded right in every way possible IMO. I look up to people who mod their Neon this way.

But no one liked my half tinted exports. I even got a couple of VERY nasty PMs about what I "did to those tail lights"
Anyway, good job on the lights.

Ouch! I'm sure they looked good (imo), but people probably couldn't believe you tinted $200 lights. Unless you didn't pay $200 for them.

I got mine normal lights for $12.....even if I screwed them up, it wasn't that big a deal. Thanks for the compliment though.

Of course I didnt pay $200 for them. I got them for $20 shipped.

I dont have any good pics with them, as Im back to plain old stock US tails right now. I decided to go back to simpler looks.

All you have to do to get new lights is spend $20.00. That is what I did. Just start with 600 grit sandpaper and a bowl of soapy water. Finish with the finest grit you can find and then final polish with a rubbing compound. Wahlah. You cannot tell the difference between new and the ones you sanded.

I'll might just have to do that.....save some moolah.

Might as well throw em in the oven and crack it open and paint the inside gloss black too. That's how I got my R/T Headlights. Made 'em myself.

Nah, I like the chrome look. But I am gonna sand 'em down. I really gotta get the outside of my car looking better. I like it now, but it could look so much better with some relatively minor tweaks. Some of them are just kinda expensive minor tweaks.

Ever think about getting rid of that side molding? I took mine off on my 01 and it came out clean. Just get the hair dryer a credit card and some tar b gone, and you are set.

I tried that once and found that the factory paint underneath was bubbled. Sucks to be me.

Nah, I'm leaving the molding on. I took all the badges off, but I'm going to put the R/T badges on the front doors like a stock R/T. The only cars I like with the molding off are kitted cars with bigger sideskirts and stuff like that. Otherwise I think the sides look kinda plain.

Baby, ain't nothing plain about that!

Nice picture! I know, it's just my personal taste on the matter. Most people do like them gone. But dangit, it's
my car!

When I get R/T or SRT sideskirts, maybe I'll take 'em off.

Agreed - You know, they make a lip kit that looks killer on our cars - I got to find it again.
