Bordem Strikes Another One

Well guys bored as hell and got sick of looking at my stock 3rd brake light, I know it isnt nothing great or complex but decided to change it up. Let me know what ya think. Im sure Justin knows where the idea came from.

Any easy ways to fix gooner in trunk?

trace the emblem online, Cut it out, tape up the brake light with painters tape, Trace the outline on the brake light and use an exacto knife to cut the outline then peel all the tape except the emblem and spray it with paint, Then after it is dry peel the emblem tape and your done.

yeah any good ways to get that off? also whats the best way to remove the trim on the doors without messing up the paint?

gee i wonder where that idea did come from :rofl:

here is my method (not that chads is wrong)
1.print emblem offline
2. cut out emblem shape
3. spray paper emblem with 3m adhesive and stick on piece of masking tape.
4. cut out shape with ezacto knife
5. put tape emblem over lens
6. paint (use actual black paint, not tint)
7. peel off tape emblem

take it a step further:
prep the lens using 400 grit sandpaper and shave down all the lettering that is raised on the lens, that way when you paint it, its smooth. (something i figured out after mine was done)

I saw this guy with a silver R/T do that. I slapped him too :lol:

i need to pull it back out and hit it with clearcoat yet. Got the advertisement off under the dodge emblem and looks alot better, also just installed my 2GN.ORG Sticker.

well guys got the clearcoat on the brake light today and I must say it looks 100xs better, looks like it was born there.......I will get some pics up sometime.......gotta get to replacing the starter, gotta slap it every now and then to make it work....lol
