new interior
well i can never leave anything alone and i hate the stock headliner. i got the fabric from joann it was about 4.5 yards if anyone is wondering how much it takes. i had a little extra. it came out great compared to my last 2 times doing it. i tried to make it straight as possible and i think it worked out good. i went about it differently this time. spraying a line of glue down the middle long ways on the headliner and the fabric then lined it up perfectly straight then did each half separately. if that makes sense? lol i also took the sun visors completely apart and they came out awesome besides the one mirror cracked when pushing it together after gluing it. let me know what you guys think!
my camera couldnt capture the color for shit so heres an up close. its turquoise, green and teal
i also got a shift knob when i went to import alliance. its weighted and the perfect height for my double din. love7:
and 2 pics from the other day just because :

After seeing yours it really makes me want to redo mine, COMPLETELY.
did you take off the "oh shit" handles or did the car just not come with them?
Also, how hard was it to wrap the visors? Mine are black fabric dye and it wasnt the best job :$

Mine doesn't have a sunroof. Not sure if that's why there's no oh shit handles but it didn't have them. Made it alot easier. The visors were kind of a pain. Those spikes cut up my knuckles lol. I just kept prying at them until they broke open. And used some glue to glue them back together. Definitely worth it tho. I am extremely happy with how they turned out.ThatKevin wrote:After seeing yours it really makes me want to redo mine, COMPLETELY.

Also when I had them apart I sprayed the plastic and fabric before putting the fabric so it stays on. And sprayed the inside edges
If/when I do it I want to just not use the handles.. It looks soo much cleaner without them.
The only reason I didn't do the headliner the first time was because I couldnt find fabric big enough to make it one piece.

If you wanna come down here, we can make a day out of it, and if you need to do anything to yours, we can as well.skaterking411 wrote:Doesn't matter to me. We can do it at my place in akron. NOTICE: You can install the 3mm spacers onto your car with factory wheel studs, but its recommended for safety you install longer wheel studs. 5mm and 8mm wheel studs CANNOT BE USED with factory wheel studs as there is not enough thread to safely use these. Youll HAVE TO purchase longer wheel studs to use with these yourself.
