Yeah i knew i had to reuse the upper mounts. Im going to try to find a set of megan or bc camber plates and see if they'll work.

Yeah, ive heard the same thing. Ive also heard if you dont go too low, they ride really nice. This is okay with me because i dont plan on going low. I just wanted them so i could make my drop a little more raked.

I plan on buying a set of these at some point

I ordered a set as well.
Cody, Megan or BC mounts won't work with these. These are meant to be used with stock tophats, so the strut rod is too thick in diameter to fit through those. Your best bet is the Mopar camber plates, since they're made for oe-sized rods.
You can always go the universal tophat route, and drill your own hardware spots. What would I know about that though. . .

Cody as adam alluded to, check ebay for mk1 neon camber plates made by mookeeh. The front plates are for a 1gn and you can buy undrilled universal rears... I have. Sneaking suspicion these might work but dont hold me to that... Yet

Ground control makes camber plates but by the time you buy these and the racelands your better off buying bc's or amr's or megans.

I stand by what I say. It's got to be something made to fit OEM rod width.

Don't ground controls fit stock rod width? By BC's and etc etc I meant coilovers, not just plates.

Oh right right.
As far as GC, I'm not sure what they're made for. I didn't read the link too in depth. I know most Neon folk are too cheap for that type of stuff

If that is too expensive, forget the Mopar camber plates. $750 the last time I looked. I (well, Juan) got lucky and found a set on Ebay NIB for $500, but still very expensive.

Yeah unless he's slamming it, he shouldn't need camber plates. I lowered my car on the BC's quite a bit (although not slammed) and I haven't even touched the camber plates yet. Haven't needed to. Of course, BC's have slotted bolt holes at the bottom ends, which is where you get some minor adjustment. If the Raceland's have similar slotting he will probably be just fine and won't need camber plates at all so long as he isn't slamming the car.

Here Cody... Look at these:
Neon Camber Plates
Universal Round Camber Plates
For $190 shipped, if you have to do some drilling and slight modifying... I think it's worth it.

Sounds complicated. And like I said I'm not sure he'll need it unless he plans on scraping the ground. I see the Raceland's aren't slotted at the bottom bolt holes. Easy solution: Slot them.
Problem solved.

No it doesn't ? All you need is a drill press. Cody seems like the type of person that won't have a problem drilling 6 holes for bolts. These are made for stock struts so the coils should mount right up too. If it's too complicated sounding, then by all means don't attempt it. In my opinion... it's doable and I'm willing to try it.

*are doing it.
Ryan and I aren't forcing this setup down anyone's throat. Just saying that there are options to make these that much more adjustable. If someone had money for the GCs or Mopars, they likely weren't buying sub -$400 coilovers. Drilling a few holes and having camber adjustment on 4 corners still sits you under $650. They aren't Bilsteins, but they're not eBay sleeves either.
I don't intend to drop the car 9" either, but it makes my alignments and little tweaks that much easier.

I guess my questioning it is more centered around "do you even need it" and not "can it be done". I just think that the slotting of the lower bolt holes will give you all the adjustment you need. Wait, not think. I know, because it does so with BC's. Like I said, I've never even touched my camber adjustments. Not once. I'm not dissing doing the camber plates. I just think it's more than what's needed in most cases.

for slight camber adjustment, yeah you're right they probably won't be necessary. Adam wants them for 2 reasons mainly. 1) more adjustability than slotted clevis will allow without having the tire rub the strut body and 2) a more solid upper mount... anyone that has stiff lowering springs knows the rubber tophat will become loud and clunky in short order. nothing to clunk with camber plates

Got um on. Drove roughly a mile. I like the feel of them comfort was. Not as bouncy as my old tokico blues with eBay sleeves.
