Have you aligned it at a shop since the install?

No alignment yet since my tires are junk. im gonna get a new set of wheels and then align it with camber bolts
MUCH better ride height than some of the other pics being posted.

LOL i know it has settled about .5 an inch more so its tucking more in the front butMyNeonSaysHi wrote:This..DetergentCandy wrote:Very interesting.
I wanna know how they hold up over the next few months.
Huge drop you got there lol
go low or go home lmao.
I posted a pic on the srt4 FB page and they flamed me hard. i dont want to get into it. i bought these not for any sort of racing. just cruising around and a bearable ride for my commute of 60 miles everyday to school lol
and yeah ill keep you guys updated on how they hold up with more use
Yeah it's that 'bearable ride" part I'm most concerned about. I'm not gonna flame you for any reason, nor do I care about racing either, not in this situation... Like you, my SRT is my daily, and I want comfort. So my request to you is to give us your opinion of the ride in more detail, how does it compare to stock? I actually really like the ride the stock springs provides, and I wouldn't mind going a LITTLE bit stiffer. Are the rates on these things advertised? How is the valving? Like a rock or reasonable? I just wish they had slotted bottom holes but like you said, cam bolts will almost be as good as slots.

stock rode cozy but it was still ehh and when i had the megan 2 inch springs it was horrible lol. I got these and i dont dread hitting bumps in the road. its hard to explain it but the ride is obviously stiffer than stock but its not like megans or Bcs which to me ride like shit. I test drove a srt before i found this one with megans and it was not pleasant. I like these its a nice upgrade for low and a little stiffer. they dont really bounce either. All and all they beat springs or sleeves any day. spring rates are 285lb in the front and 200 in the rear

And what are the rates for factory SRT springs?

yeah after they settled ride is still very good. The front settled to where it was tucking about half my tire so i raised it up about 3/4 of an inch so it doesn't rub my tires ahah. For the money these are very nice coilovers. They beat having springs, or s strut spring combo any day !!Marmelade Boy wrote:smiley wrote:So whats the verdict on these given a little more time for them to settle? Worth the purchase?
^x2 I want to know as well! Im about to order some springs/struts but that will only get me 2" lower. I might end up getting these instead.
how are these coilovers holding up now that its been about 5 months since you installed them? do you feel like your riding on a pogo stick over bumps? my tien ss's are aggravating the hell out of me with their crappy ride so i need options for replacement for a strictly dd car. i commute just over 70 miles a day for work so i need something stiff but not with a bouncy or pogo stick feel.
or leaks..... any leaks?

Since when does an SRT ride higher? The wheels are larger, but the spring perch is higher... and the springs are shorter. If you put SRT factory springs on a normal 2GN they lower the car.
So.... how are the Racelands holding up? ANy leaks?

So I got mine on.
The bad (nothing to do with the coilovers):
I was ready to pull out of the garage and my car wouldn't move. I looked and my wheel and tire were sitting on the coilovers. My wheels and tires were too wide with the offset they have to fit. I didn't even know this could happen! My wheels are 18x8 with a +48 offset.
The good:
Luckily I had a set of PT GT wheels so I'm ridding on those no problem. I am shocked by how nice these things ride! IMO they ride better than stock and I am extremely happy with them!
One reason I wanted to post on this thread is because I came across this when I was researching and only saw hate on these but this thread had me on getting them so I did and I am so glad I did! From my research I have only seen people who have not used these to be talking crap and the ones who use them to be saying good things. My friend has them on his MKIV Jetta and also helped me decide. Here is a picture! FYI, I am nowhere NEAR being all the way down.

that actually looks damn good with the PT GT wheels... How the hell are you running 18x8 with a +48 on any suspension?? holy shit that must be tight clearances in the rear I'm guessing they are Rotas or something intended for a Suby.

Thank you! I do like it but I want something with a low offset and at least an 8 wide. I would really like some 17x8's. Yeah, +48 is freaking high! They were O.Z. Crono HT's. I bought them used from someone who had them on a Scion tC.sidepipe87 wrote:that actually looks damn good with the PT GT wheels...
