I was like wait is that a daytona. And then the curvy body lines proved to be the neon.... had me fooled. Lol

Nah, just a Neon with Daytona wheels (they were actually from a turbo Shadow, but I had them on my old Daytona for years).

Yeah that is kinda weird. Then again, I had them on a 1988, which was before those wheels even existed. I think the Ninja wheels might look pretty nice on a Neon.

My particular set came from a 1991. My Neon is only 10 years old, but the wheels on it are of legal drinking age. Those wheels are 15" non-directional. The ones on my Daytona are from a 1989 Shelby that are the 16" directional version.

Yep very interesting, I wonder if the dealer didn't add the wheels to make it sell better.

It was just a regular 3.0 V6 ATX car, nothing fancy. No Shelby package there.
