Tree vs. Neon... the tree won

I was on I-75 near Crooks in the left lane and started hydroplaning. The back wheels slid out and I started spinning. The witnesses said I spun twice across all three lanes before going off the road. I spun one more time off the road, went through some bushes and hit a tree. When I got out I was in knee deep mud water. Scariest thing that's ever happened to me. When I was sliding off the road my car went in between some stumps and some trees. The police said if I would have hit any of them, my car would've flipped and I would've drowned in the water, yet I made it out without a scratch. I was doing about 70 and I understand I was going too fast for road conditions. I'm so thankful I'm alive and it didn't turn out as bad as it could've. The only thing I can do now is learn from my mistakes. I'll be parting it out soon. I already have a buyer for the wheels.

Yeah it could. There's a lot wrong with it though. The frame shifted to the left and all bent up. Needs a hood, bumper, and fenders obviously. It would run and drive yesterday, but now it wont start. I think its the starter. It also needs a clutch, a rack and pinion, and a ps pump from before I crashed. I'm just gonna see what people want and sell the rest to a junk yard. I'll be out of the neon game for a little bit while I'm saving for an srt4.

As I said on fb I need them skirts! Maybe the doors too. Are you on DNO? Sucks this got ruined, looks badass (hell even smashed up) reminds me of my old 2g R/T

I'm not steady on DNO, that sight isn't very active. You can have the skirts and doors. I don't have prices on anything yet. I'll keep you posted. Right now I'm just trying to pull some stuff off it.

Very lucky you didn't drown. It amazing what doesn't happen in those situations. Have been in a few my self, and short of some kind of divine/paranormal intervention, a lot of it is difficult to explain.

I used to wear glasses, when I shredded my '94 Duster through both ditches, and grinding circular grooves in the pavement with just the passenger rear wheel, I rolled the window down to breathe, due to the airbag smoke, and realized my glasses probably fell out the window. (car was on it's side).

So I climb out, go to the hatch, and un latch/open my Rubbermaid tote to get the flashlight to look for my glasses.

I found them inside the tote, before I got the flashlight. How the F*ck does that happen?

Wow, this really does suck, your car was really nice looking. But at least you're ok, like everyone says that's what matters most!
