Coil pack heat shield installed on a 2gn...

Got Coil pack heat shield from a guy off of srtforums (the modern one) and painted hi-temp red and tried to install it when I ran into a problem.... Didn't know that the srt valve cover setup was different than the regular neons...

Heres a pic of how the heat shield fits on the srt...

Now I had to cut a lil piece out so that it would clear my breather on the back of my vc... Took my dremmel to it and made it fit perfectly..

Nothing big but definite makes my engine bay stand out just a bite more...

Looks weird since its a different size on one side, but thats cool that you got it to fit.

yeah...doesnt seem worth it since its not really blocking any heat (no turbo

) but does add a nice touch, and Im pretty sure a little birdy told me you are working on a turbo setup....I think....lol, so im sure it will prove useful soon!!

It doesnt' serve a Fuction... YET...

I'll like it better when there is a reason it's there besides adding some more red under the hood
