Your 'work' vehicles are a bit faster than mine... They probably come close value-wise, though. :)

^^I don't drive them but work at Stowers Machinery. The East TN Cat dealer. Love it here. Now I have gotten to move a 777D before. That was fun. We also are putting together a 994D for a customer out in the shop. This thing is HUGE. cnfx-wicked, what is that one, a 992, 990?
I bet some of these guys here would shit if they saw some of this stuff. We have a customer with a 5110b(excavator) also. Makes a 777D look like a toy.

I build coal mines bodies. Its kewl watching them go from a flat plate of steel, go to the plaz table, get bent welded and put together. It takes about 4 to 5 weeks to complete 1 body. What size is that body??

This is my entry into work vechicles. My normal truck is a 01 1500 2WD with 3 dimaond plate boxes on it. I drive this when it snows.

She's 3/4 ton with a 5.8L V8 and hauls 1.2 tons of salt which is hand loaded. I can stay out for about 4hrs before reloading.

As you can see we hook up and load up in a unground parking garage. Which means everything is done by hand. An the trucks are driven while the lots is open so there are cars everywhere. We have a roof top lot which has 13 stories which I take this up drive ilse are 12ft wide in there.

Even after reading that, I'm unsure of what your job is... You drive a plow, but do you work for a plow company or something?

Sorry, I work for a parking garage company. My title is Crew cheif/Tech II in charge of Revenue and Access control sytems. Its a pretty title.

However, really I'm a jack of all trades for the company. My main job is to repair, maintain and install Cash registers, ticket spitters, gates, booths, Overhead doors, key card readers(prox and swipe) and the PCs that controll them.

I also work on lights, intercom systems, CCTV, A/C and heaters, plumbing fixtures, safes, locks of all types and sizes from electromagnetic to desk. I do carpentry, carpet, painting, conceret and black top repair, demo work of all kinds. I have 500 hrs of MSDS training and can run both ele and LP forklitfs.

I repair and maintain PC's running DOS, Win 98, WinNT4.0, Win2000, WinXP home and pro. I deal with DSL WAN setups Wired and wireless routers, printers mostly inkjets.

In the winter when it snows I run a plow truck plus try to keep all the other plows, spreaders, and trucks working. I also help to run all the snow teams. The snow detail pays me 17/hr on top of my base rate.

I also do PC repair/ home network and AutoCad on the side.

Thank you to any who have read this far :) Also my name in John some people call me Big John either works :)

If you read this far here like the short ver of my life.

Grew up in Northern Baltimore county MD, went to Hereford highschool the smae school in which over the years my grandmother attendend both my mom and dad,8 Aunts and Uncles and 5 cousions.
Went to YTI in York, PA got a degree and eletrionics during and externship I got sick.

I spent a month in a hospital 1 week in ICU and 3 weeks in a wheelchair as I learned to walk again, then 3 months in Phyiscal therpy. I have a diease call polymyosites in which my immune system when into high gear one day and never shut down my immune system attacks my muscle tissiue and at the time of going into the hospital it was affecting my heart. It attacks only 1 in every 100,000 people mainly women and over 55, I was 22.

When all said and done and was albe to return to work I had gotten enguaged(spelling) and found a job in DC that could support us. I drove from Shrewsbury PA to DC everyday for a year. (86 miles one way) When ended up calling off and break up and I moved down to DC a few months after a fell alseep behind the wheel of my totaling it coming home from work. Been working in DC for 6 years come May and living in DC for 5.

Now if you have read this I thank you but you should really get back to work or back to your school work. :)

I think this thread has been taken out of context(since i doubt linkin18t uses those cars for work, but instead sells them), but I will post what I drive for work anyways.
