Well, i did it... I smashed the SXT-t!! Oh well... I'm just glad my girlfriend and myself were ok. Its funny, i always thought that i'd be pissed or upset if i smashed my car. I couldn't care less... what's important matters alot more.

I hit a F150 on 114 in Portsmouth, RI on the way to Newport, RI. The car in front of the F150 suddenly stopped to take a left hand turn. The F150 locked... I locked and wasn't able to stop. I wasn't able to change lanes due to another vehicle on the side of me. Shit happens!

Anyway, here is the damage:

shitty deal meng, sorry for your loss; on the other hand, it looks like other than maybe a little rad support work, all the damage is mostly cosmetic; could this mean it's time for a new nicer front and a cf hood or something?????

Good to hear you're safe! I felt the same way after smashing my 2 week old bodykit/paintjob. After the initial shock of it and knowing i was fine, i proceeded to be pissed and punch a road sign, BUT i know how ya feel man.

my first wreck in my SXT was about 4 thousand worth of damage - Pretty close to totaling it . . .

Second wreck did total it

Just put the claim in today... Insurance should come by and see tomorrow if everything goes well. The damage isn't that bad.

I'm hoping the $ amount is high though. The car has 86,xxx miles on so the the car isn't worth much. I would like to see it totalled, but highly doubt that will happen.

If it is fixable i'm thinking....

Jacqueline, I think I saw it on SRTForums, its called the "Grip" kit I think, looks pretty cool with and I/C in front
