The engine bay looked pretty good after you washed it. What did you want it to look like. If you want everything shiney I will tell you a little secret.......ssshhhhhhh!........use WD-40. Spray down everything except the yellow caps and your oil caps.....well anything that has yellow writing on it......let it sit for about 5 minutes and then wipe everything down with a red or blue shop rag and your done. Start the car up and inhale the fresh sent of WD
it was bad enough smellin engine degreaser
i followed the instructions on the bottle, it said, after rinsing the engine with water, turn the car on and let it idle to let it dry out... well, i did that after about 5 mins, started pourin up steam from the header and the radiator scared the piss outta me... i thought it was smoke and my car was on fire

HAHAHAHAHAH thats awesome
But really....if you WD-40 it you dont HAVE to start the car up. You can let it sit over night and the smell will somewhat evaporate but then again I love WD and I like spraying it into my fresh air intake for my interoir air vents......I guess you could say I use it as air freshner

I dont believe so but if we do I am going to have to wright K&N and ask them to make a replacement.........J/K but seriously thoughgrambo wrote:Speaking of Fresh air intakes....do we have filters in our fan systems for teh interior??
I dont think we do. I have pulled apart alot of the housing (dont ask me why) and I never came accross a filter....but there may be one hiding somewhere.....If there is that may be able to solve some people's stench that they get through the vents
Oh and I like your title......So how much is a moderator anyways
