If that is the way its done, physics will tell you that the passenger side exhaust will actually work like a vacuum, because all of your exhaust goes straight out the drivers side, since it's perfectly a straight shot. If you want them both to function normally, you have to split them in the middle, if not, the pass. side is just for looks.

Mabe you should have a look at the borla srt exhaust then. http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/sr ... aust.shtmllambostealth wrote:If that is the way its done, physics will tell you that the passenger side exhaust will actually work like a vacuum, because all of your exhaust goes straight out the drivers side, since it's perfectly a straight shot. Look familiar?
The flow is about 75/25, with the flow being less on the passenger side. The advantages are more then 4 feet less piping = less restriction.
What you also dont know is that the passenger side creates a very deep tone, that mellows out the tone of the drivers side. This gives the over all system a deeper sound, cancelling out the fart cannon experience most commonly produced with a straight through single exhaust system, or a OEM srt system without resonators
So lets recap here. Deeper tone, less restriction, looks good. I think physics is on my side with this one.
Class dismissed.

^ Taking it to a muffler shop with that pic would be your best bet, unless you are lucky like me and have access to a shop with every type of welding equipment, and a friend with killer welding skills.
It consists of two APC resonators, two 90 degree mandrel bent pipes cut to size and one straight pipe welded all together.
Expect to pay almost just as much or more getting it done that way, as apposed to just buying a used srt rear and mid section.
Once mine craps out i'll probably just buy a Vibrant exhaust or similar and cut it to fit.
Total cost of parts was about $230can.
