01 ACR

Post by SlvrACR » Sat Apr 22, 2006 4:33 pm

Just picked it up yesterday and I love it. Had a neon before but nothing like this one. Has a few mods and I really dont plan on going to crazy with the AM parts. Just wanted to show it off alittle.

Ya no AC which isnt a prob with me because I have other cars but its a no option ACR. The springs are Eibach with stock ACR struts. I traded him my 99 Cherokee even trade for this. Basically payed $4500 for it. Here is a pic of the ACR sticker, its not on straight but i got more incase i did that. I found them online for $15 shipped if anyone wants the web address let me know.

Thanks alot guys. Any opinions on what I should do to it. I dont wanna mod this as far as my Cougar but I wanna keep it clean and running good for a daily driver.

I don't know what to tell you to do for subtle mods. Most of us are simply trying to mod our SE or SXT into an ACR or RT... so I guess not much more you can do without going turbo, or body kit... or something... Under drive pulley? There you go!

Ya I want to keep it without bodykit but I might do RT sides. Here is what the car has now.

OEM Export Taillights
ICEMAN Cold Air Induction kit
UNORTHODOX RACING underdrive pulley
THERMAL Rear Exhaust Section
MOPAR PERFORMANCE spark plug wires
EIBACH lowering springs
FREEDOM DESIGN front upper strut-bar
BOOGER BUSHINGS
VIPER 600 security system
AUTOMETER dual gauge pod
AUTOMETER Air / Fuel gauge
AUTOMETER Voltage gauge
Export Chrysler Grille
R/T Foglights

i'd say keep it clean and simple liek it is. the sides would be good, throw some simple rims on it, maybe some CF.

Yeah, you got the nice chrysler front, id stick to it. Id put on kaminari side skirts

as I think they would match your front and rear. Other then that it just looks like everything na has been done to your car already.

its an ACR, its rare to begin with. its an option-less acr which makes it even more rare.

Yes I work at a Tire/Rim shop so today thats what im gonna be looking into. Im thinkin some lightweight Centerlines since I like the ones on my Cougar. IDK what size though, I dont think I wanna run an 18. I also last night I threw in poly filled mounts and its alot nicer feel.

dont do 18s....16s or 17s at the most. 18s would be overkill on a car as simple and smooth as your acr.

You'll kill all of the ACR with 18's man. That car is for eating apexes not cruising. Shoot, you've got an autoX killing machine there.

Agreed... don't do 18s... at most 16-17 but with an ACR I'd really keep to 16s just for the added sidewall for Autox

Car looks great right now though! Congrats on a good lookin ACR!

Bleh, the struts are what makes that car special, not much eles. If he wants to do 18s theres nothing wrong with that. The car looks really nice as is, did that crysler grill come stock??
