um... Had to replace the power steering pump and both PS lines, starter, Alernator, and the whole exhaust system.

The powersteering line ruptured, dripping PS fluid on the Alternator which shorted out the Starter and then the PS pump blew up because it had no fluid in it for the whole 20 mile drive back to Atwater. I hung the exhaust on a rock and it broke the exhaust manifold, smashed the cat and tore a hole in the muffler.

The Cam Tower gaskets and both valve covers leaked after that and the transmission needed to be worked on because the ablility to change the shift package was stuck. (Automatic with "Econo" "Normal" and "Sport" mode buttons. )

I hated that car and I was trying to kill it.. But the damn 2.8L I6 kept on going. Sold it for $100 after I bought my 1989 S-10

w3rd. Why would one do that? They don't make vehicles for that shit anymore... I don't care if it's made by Jeep... That doesn't make it a 'Jeep.'

Actually Jeep spends ALOT of time up at the Rubicon here in Nor-Cal. We were up there camping two years ago and they had the whole trail shutdown for "secret" testing. This meant that only "Jeepers" were allowed onsite and us guys in Dodge P/U's had to stick with camping and beer.... :)
