now for the story.

Im sitting down with the family eating dinner, boom i get up and go outside. then i see the yellow glass and my car is sitting at at angle. My neighbor tells me some lady in a maroon sab, came around the corner and slammed in to my car. the bitch then drove off. Well i call the cops and tell them what happned, as i hangf up the phone the bitch drives buy again and parks just arund the corner. so i call the cops for the 2nd time. when the cop shows up he drives down the street and arrests the lady for DUI. So now i got to figure out how in gona fix this the cop sayed he isnt sure if she has insurance or not and my deductable is $1500
I dont have that kind of cash. god i hope she has insurance. if not im gona have to ask for donations. DAMN

im sure members here will throw you a few bucks, they helped me alot and there's no reason why they wont help you. Even if its $5 through paypal, something is better than nothing

hell yea, what realy scares me though is the fender on the pass side is sticking out by like 1/2 inch and in scared that the frame is bent.

clams adjuster is going to call tomarow before 10 so i hope whan i get a copy of the police report i findout that she has insurance. looking at my car closer i think the bitch moved over the whole front frame by 1/3 to 1/2 inch.

Usually there's a clause in your insurance for unisured or underinsured motorist coverage. check to see if that applies to you. It'll waive your deductible. And damn man.... go lower yer deductible..... JUST for reasons like this. Sucks it happened though. I feel for ya. Good luck.

She should get charged with DWI, hit and run...etc...
Her insurance should cover everything, unless they try to pull a scam and total your car so they can get there hands on it like another member here in the forum...

Not always. It depends on the value of the car, and if it's paid off or not. They won't cut you a check for the amount of damage, if it costs more to fix it, then they'll cut you a check for the value of the car, not the damage. And if the car is paid off, they will get the damage appraised, then just give you the check for the amount of damage, what you do with the money is up to you. But I'm sure everyone already knew that.

That really sucks about the neon, I feel for you. But look at it this way, everything happens for a reason, while it may suck right now, I guarantee you it'll get better. Something good will come out of this. It always does.

What exactly did the insurance company say in regard to the policy?

due to the fact that the payment was mailed with no postage(my fuck up) the post office just put it back in my mailbox so i have no proof of payment ond threre is no postmark date on the letter. but i got an estamet $350 to straighten out the front and replace the (hood hinges and hood that i provide) now i need help frome you guys. dose ony one have en extra r/t bumper and or some 02 headlights. my luck sucks...........................

For starters,
You lost your daughter? You said in dec. damn thats when my new boy was born when I had my wreck!
Second, what the heck insurance do you have?
And finally, what kind of body work can you do?
Most of the repairs on my car was done by manual labor!

If someone can supply me with 03-up headlights then you can HAVE my 02 front fascia off my car! BUT I cant afford to pay for the shipping! I'll also leave my fog lights in there so you can have them too....
Back in Dec a lot of people did donations to help me out! We'll now its my turn to help someone else out!
I have an 03-up front fascia to throw onto my car with no problems except I need 03-up headlights to go with it.
So if anyone wants to help him out please let me or caustic know. I can provide him with an 02 fascia, grill,fogs but I cant afford the shipping charges. On my end all I need is a pair of 03-up headlights. That will get him started. If he needs a pair of 00-02 headlights, I can help him there too, but yet again I can't do that without 03-up headlights let alone the shipping charges.
If anyone wants to contribute contact him or I and we can get things rolling. Caustic is a fairly new member yes, but I have had personal IM's from him about several topics and he is trustworthy.

i sold my headlights not too long ago.... ii do however have a stock black hood.

Caustic start searching around for shippers for the fascia and hood from dblsg. Try to get an idea on charges, as for the headlights,grill,and fogs those are easy to ship.
I would say meet up with DBLSG, but he is in Illinois, and by the looks of the map Diablo0 is probably your half way point to DBLSG.
In the mean time I'll start searching for shippers and rates on my end also. PM me your address so I can get an idea on exact charges....

For me to ship a hood from Dallas, TX to NY, NY (yes thats how i calculate fixed shipping) it would cost $121 via UPS Ground.

I hope that helps with an idea of how much shipping can be.
