well guys, it's taking so long to reply because i wanna give you guys the best price possible for the highest quality... we've been playing with the clearcoating to see what works best, and i'm hiring one of my buddies real soon to do the trimming and sanding for me so i've been trying to figure out how much i'm gonna need to pay him and all.... with school and the amount of crap i have to make locally aswell, its probably still gonna take me about a couple weeks for each order, but we'll see if i can improve on that...
so here's the 2gn.org "pricelist" if you wanna call that... any future groupbuys or threads i already started will be priced accordingly; feel free to ebay or resell this stuff for more if you want, it wont be available to places like srtforums untill the new year maybe even spring...
A pillars -$110CAN ( ~$95.70US)
B pillars -$90CAN (~$78.30US)
C pillars -$120CAN (~$104.40US)
Door Sills - $120CAN (~$104.40US)
Cluster - $65CAN (~$56.55US)
--------------------------------------------------
Total: $505CAN (~$439.35US) + shipping
Group A: all of above (11piece)
-$455CAN (~$395.85US)+shipping
Group B: pillars and cluster (7 piece)
-$355CAN (~$308.85US)+shipping
Group C: pillars and door sills (10 piece)
-$400CAN (~$348US)
Group D: pillars only (6 piece)
-$300CAN (~$261US)
*as always, i suggest a good spray adhesive like 3M super 77 which should be available at most hardware stores or online... for under $10 you'll have an almost permanent hold, and the closest possible look to a full cf pannel without gaps or crap like that;
no paypal fee, but all transactions must be in canadian dollars... if this sounds good, i'll start a thread in the vendors forum; i think i put one there before but no one really replied which is good, coz i didnt have everything sorted out at that point anyways;

dunno yet but teamliviD is contributing one to the R&D effort so i'm gonna try it yeah
also, i did the conversion on the prices above assuming that 1CAN=0.90US ; the exchange rate has changed, it's now only 1CAN=0.87US, so remultiply accordingly... this should drop the prices in $US around $5... i'll update them later today when i have a sec, sorry but i need to head out

ALSO, i UPDATED the prices to reflect the change in the exchange rate, and that dropped the US prices quite a bit... this is why i am keeping everything in canadian dollars; you just saved $20, without affecting my bottom line in any way, simply due to the dollar going down a couple cents

Well, Ill start gathering some packing material. Wanna PM me an addy or something to see how much shipping will be? Its not too heavy, but it is kinda large. I dont have the rails or the mechanics of the sunroof to send, just the glass pannel and the metal frame that goes around it with the tabs that bolt onto the mechanics of the sunroof.rice_eater wrote:YES!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!! if you do, i'll make you one and only charge you materials and then ship it to you! lmkMopar00Neon wrote:Id still like a sunroof. trust me, we were horsing around at my buddys boddyshop, and we put the pillars next to various CF stuff they had around the shop and the shine is way better than anything he had there... granted, my stuff is brand new, but i put it next to my cbd gas cap that i bought i think in april, and there is no comparrison; i'll post some more pics once i have it clearcoated and shiny
if you guys want, and you dont care that its not millimetrically perfect if examined with a laser pointer, i can make these out of scrap fiber just like this one for a wopping $10... i end up with dozens of small chunks of fiber from cutting out the bigger pieces i need so i can put them to good use instead of chucking them... i've been keeping the bigger pieces, but i do end up throwing out a lot of small pieces of "scrap" fiber... i can make as many molds as i need, i simply cut this one out from a sheet of aluminum, so even if 20 people decide they want them i can make them in a couple days, have them clearcoated and out the door :wink
whats cool is how strong this badge is... i made it out of 6 layers of cf and its strong as steel; carbon is really cool
