god im so excited. pleeease make the vent visors for the windows in CF id die! that would be awesome. but not huge sticking out ones, just real mild and clean ones that would let u crack the window w/o gettin wata in the car. and the cowl is also a great idea!

hmmm... i see those all the time now on cars but i never really cared for them... can you buy them from most stores? it wouldnt be too hard to copy them if i found a set to buy and use as a mold

what are the chances of u making custom stuff thats not modeled after something exactly? cuz the only ones ive seen are from AVS, and theyre huge and tacky lookin IMO, but some smaller CF ones would be sick. ill look into it

well, everything needs a mold... the mold can be an OEM part, or one made by hand... you can imagine the work to get a mold done

God no. Please don't start making MORE CF products. I can't afford to keep up. I'm already behind on what CBD sells....

There's a company that sells CF fenders for 499 by the way. I think CBD's problem with them is that they would need too much work to produce one set before they could make any money off them. They think in terms of markup I'm sure. I guess 30 points isn't good enough?

I got a PVO spoiler from them and was very disappointed. I understand its CF.... but there's nothing to it. And its a $200 piece. WHY? Iunno....

Anyway.... put me down for a set of front pillars in CF. I'd like a whole set of B pillars in CF also. A CF windshield cowl would be sick. CF mirror covers..... CF door handle covers..... CF door inserts. CF 3rd brakelight blanks. CF corner light blanks. Mmmmm....... Carbon.....

if you could use a 2gn trunk and make a skin that i can put over it and attach underneath somehow, i would definitly take one the look of cf w/o the price... i think.. well not the full price.. but yea..let me know what u can do..

why not use the OEM part? get a piece of fabric from the store and keep cutting and trying till you got a pattern then you can make that your "unversal pattern" to cut the carbon fiber....

so what is the price on a set of fenders too?

there isnt an oem piece, at least not to my knowledge. heres an example of them on a truck, i cant find any on a dang neon when i need to. ive seen em before and theyre quite hideous but id love some nice clean smaller ones. the neon ones are nearly as big as the ones in this pic! ew

^^^ haha yeh pretty soon he gonan have the only full cf neon body and all haha it all looks real good though...ive always thought about doing my headliner with cf and the pillars as well. mainly just to get rid of that tan 2 tone and make it look cooler. just coudlnt really figure out how you would get the headliner back in once it is wrapped in cf...doesnt seem like it woudl fit to easy in the door, but i guess it does?...

trying to compete with the CF ultra light mopar SRT

let me whore a couple more this was by far the hardest part of making it... laying a couple more layers of cf for strength should be a piece of cake

oh btw the CF is real, its just not the whole door/hinge, cuz that would be retarded and not worth the cost at all. I also think it looks nice and compliments my other CF parts.

i could probably make those fenders for about $350-$400 /pair... the ONE thing i wanna test out first on my other car, is the FIT. the reason is, since the fiber was laid on top of hte stock part, it's gonna be about a couple millimeters bigger than the stocker. being flexible, this shouldnt matter too much hopefully, but i'll let you guys know;

i got a buddy who committed to helping me part time when i get back, and i'll probably order another shippment of CF before leaving to keep a steady supply/.. hopefully like this i'll be able to keep up with all the "demand"

new idea: you know the wavy pop out piece of plastic that sits below the guage faces? that would be awesome in CF and very easy to install and maybe even easier to use as a mold. give us something cool to look at when driving!
