yyeah either my next mods are either Rims or Body kit, or lowering....but lowering seems like it would be a bitch to do.

Lowering. If you put a body kit on before lowering, I will come to your house, laugh and point in your face, and then... Poke you in the forehead.
Lower that bitch. It took me about 3.5 hours to install my lowering springs. Not bad for someone that's never changed out springs before.

I side with that quote to the tenth degree...
Since you have an 05 and its under warranty I wouldn't worry about modding it yet. Just save your money. But if thats impossible to do, get it lowered first! Bad thing though is your stock struts will go out very fast if you lower it 1.5'' or more. So I would get some nice struts like Tokico blues. (Have them on mine) And get a nice set of lowering springs. But the smartest thing to do is to just get coilovers... They are around $1k while a strut and spring package is around $500... Installation will take time. Just make sure you have the right tools and it will be pretty easy once you start doing it.

I vote 1st gen springs. They lower it nicely, and it still rides decent, handles great too I might add.

At least the ACR springs do.

Looks very nice. I like the snowflake rims better than the 'optional ones on mine'.
Traded 05 SXT mtx, for new 07 Fusion SE I4 5A.

yeah, I got 1st gen ACR springs (the correct ones) and they ride a LOT better than the other brand name springs, and they gave it a good stance. they're a bitch to find, but if you search enough, you can find them, and for a good price!
