The bolt stuck in my right rear...
The tires were SO bald after 2 weeks with a -2.5 camber that I couldn't even get the car up my custom-redwood ramps without a fat burnout...
Now I have some pretty-new Yokahama Parada Spec-II's....yay

I did the same thing on my way to get my Dunlops Mounted. Went through the gate at my apartment and ran over a Ratchet and it went all the way into the tire. I didnt have my Spare in the car so I drove 2 miles to the Shop. Good thing it made a good seal and ta good thing the ratchet didnt damage the rim.
I think it was an omen because later that day the tire shop ran a F-150 into the back of my car.

I drove in through the hills this a.m. and the car is a beast. I didn't have a chance to get too crazy but I hung some familiar corners and it is a completely different animal and will take some getting used to.
I'll keep you posted dude.

I bet it is! once u get used to that youre gonna be fast in the corners. do u every drive downhill/canyons? with the tune your car has it seems like a good candidate for some downhill grip driving. when we meet up i want a ride in the beast ok?!

^haha, thanks for the concern.
Yeah, the new rubber is in teh bottom pic. I washed the car last night.....all those black spots and debris are "rubber dust" from teh old tires..the car was covered...even in the door/hood/trunk sills and stuff

I'm thinking I need an alignment too haha, around 80+ mph my steering wheel shakes like crazy. This means alignment right?
I heard yokahama makes some pretty good tires.

The shake could mean your wheels are off balanced, or theres that washer on one of your wheel lugs ussually.

Alignments mostly fix your car from pulling to one direction, like if you let go of the wheel it'd start going left or right on a straight highway.
What it sounds like you need is a really accurate balancing. OR if you have aftermarket rims, take this little beauty off:

Probably just needs a balance then, because I don't think it turns when I let go.

Iv'e got the same yoko's they cost 82 a piece on tire rack. Got'em mounted and balanced for 60. They handle great. look pretty bad ass to. Hey Grambo did the tread pattern throw you off. I was like whoa, why are they going the same way, researched it and found out it didn't matter. Makes it easier to rotate them.
