Just thought a share some pics of me fitting my FMIC today and my crazy idea...

Lets start with the IC... I was original gone to use a side mount and set it up just the eclipse's way.... but found a hell of a deal on a used Johnny Race Car Front Mount Intercooler that changed my mind... At first I thought it was gonna be to big but after I test fitted it, it's perfect... I'll let the pics do the justice...






Perfect fit in the Kaminari Front.. Maybe lata on down the road I'll look for a bumper that exposed the Intercooler more... but it's cool for right now...


Now to my crazy idea... I only showed a few members here on it... Its not completed yet and i really don't like post pics of unfinished projects cuz some peeps are just retarded.... So here goes...

I know all the problems that are wrong with it and I'm in the process of actually fixing them and finishing it.... So please note It stills needs alot of work...

My Cowl Style Srt Hood Idea...





One side of the hood has 3 layers of fiberglass and the other side has only 1... ran out of Resin and my job schedule really suxs right now...

Probably bout another week or 2 of boredom and the hood and the turbo will be finished and install...

That could look fucking awesome when finished!

That rools dood! I like the ideas and concept you have going there - that hood is gonna be sweet once finished.

Looks pretty good, I just dont like your fog lights.

That front bumper looks thrashed.

Lol.... I already painted my car... Its Semi gloss Black... PPG...

Front bumper and back bumper took a beating from road kill.... So I have that to fix as well...

And yea I hate how the fog lights but it helps me see the road better... Thinking bout retro fitting though....

But yea, the paint will change very soon... Looking for a custom green to go with... Gotta finish up on all my body work before I even think about that though... Have alot of other stuff planned too, just time is all that's needed..

I have to tell you though...that with the bumper on, and your Front plate....that FMIC isn't probably getting much more cooling air than the sidemount would.

car looks good. cant wait to see boost, and that hood will look fucking SICK when completeed.!

Make sure you move your front licence plate or you wont be getting much air hitting your IC as you'll need and you'll heat soak like a MFer

that looks sooo awsome man, would looke cleaner without those fogs but other than that it owns, i love it

Yea the fog lights will be gone... and I'm also in the works of making a bracket to move the License Plate out of the way... Actually gone make it removable so when I hit up carshows it can be easily taken off or put back on...

Zip-ties FTW! That's how I made my removable front plate.

Atx... the pix of the IC on was just for fitting purposes... Its not fully bolted on for good just yet...

looks awesome. and you should see some of the ghetto shit i done with zip ties....you would just be like wow hahaha. hell my friends intercooler on his civic is held up with zip ties hahaha

Yea never underestimate the strengh of a zip tie. IC looks good, you should have fun with the piping. Also, you definatly should cut your bumper if you are going to run an IC that large.

(Yes I have 2 t25 and no I'm not running a twin turbo setup... The one that is not bolted up is the one I'm using... The one that is mounted to the manifold is damaged cuz somehow my lil bros managed to f'up the compressor wheel, so I'm using it as my test subject )

Wastegate will be on when the setup is complete.. Only gonna run stock psi on the T25 which is 7 pounds of fun...

Downpipe is almost done... I'm working on the Ic and piping now... After those two things are done and taken care of, it'll all be on the car...

Also took out my custom dash gauges cuz it still needs a lot of work and I'm thinking of redesignin.... Might sell it... If your interested hit me up though pm's... Going to get another stock one from the Junk Yard soon..I made a Pillar pod the other day as it replacement for now... Did it when it was raining for like 30 mins and it looks great...
